For those of you who might not know, the entire film Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed is now on You Tube.
What do you think, are the media and our public schools suppressing scientific truth in favor of a liberal/Secular/Atheist worldview?

Hi Goat, thanks for the link. What do you mean by verified?
“What do you think science is? There is nothing magical about science. It is simply a systematic way for carefully and thoroughly observing nature and using consistent logic to evaluate results. So which part of that exactly do you disagree with? Do you disagree with being thorough? Using careful observation? Being systematic? Or using consistent logic?

Post #13Thanks, but it didn't really require any effort on my part, like I said, it's all very well documentated.Jason Trivium wrote: Hello Bust Nak, nice to meet you. Thanks so much for taking the time to read my post and offer a thoughtful response, I appreciate it. I have to say I really respect the amount of time youve obviously put into investigating the matter and preparing to discuss it.
If there really was a conspiracy, how did he even get the position of editor in the first place? It's not like he kept his views secret.Ill be the first to admit I am not an expert on the details surrounding Dr. Sternbergs case, but I do believe the report of the incident given in the film. As for the two federal investigations of his mistreatment, I understand that it is very difficult to prove things in court, especially when there is a conspiracy to suppress evidence of wrongdoing.
Do you think intelligent design ought to be taught as science in school? And I believe that was the case in Dr. Sternbergs situation. When you look at the testimony of the entire film, and the fact that it is illegal to even teach Intelligent Design in schools, I think the truth of the matter is perfectly clear.
Yes, the "retaliation" in question is entirely appropriate. His career wasn't destoryed, he handed in his resignation for editor post 6 months before this incident. In fact, Dr Sternberg got off lightly for being allowed to finish his term instead of being sacked as editor. There even isn't some sort of register to strike him off, like medical professionals have. Some "retaliation."You said, He faced "retaliation" because of his misconduct. I dont agree that it was misconduct, but for the sake of argument lets say it was. Are you suggesting that the attempt to destroy Dr. Sternbergs career and life was justified retaliation?
He didn't face any problem even thought it was well known that he was a member of multipile intelligent design organisations. He was even offered to extend his research position afterwards by the very same museum that he accused of discrimination. This entire episode happened because he abused his position to skip the peer review process. Not for disagreeing with Darwinists. To me it is clear that the Darwinists sought to destroy Dr. Sternberg professionally because he disagreed with them. I cannot see such action as anything less than criminal.

Thanks for explaining what you meant Goat, but now I have to ask, who checked them for accuracy, and how were they checked?

Thanks for sharing your view on the issue Bust Nak, my response to the claims you made is the same as my response to Goat. We have conflicting sources, two completely different accounts of what happened. You can claim your sources are verified, but if so, it can only be by sources that agree with your position. Because my sources, not least the film itself, claim they have verified their information, and again they disagree with your sources. So once again we arrive at faith. What do we believe in? I believe the people from the Intelligent Design community and the sources they provide.
Yes I think Intelligent Design and young earth Biblical creation should be taught as science in schools.
Thanks again for the conversation, its nice talking to you.

Again, thanks for the link Goat. But obviously the claims made by Sternberg are a matter of public record as well, and are open to be viewed by anyone, here for example:
http://www.richardsternberg.com/smithsonian.php
And of course in the documentary film as well.
Again, thanks for the discussion, and the helpful information you provided.
