What purpose would a system of government have when God is both omnipotent and omniscient? Why would an omnipotent God need to delegate in order to effectively rule? Can you perhaps give a few examples of what these rulers would be tasked to do? What purpose would rulers have in a paradise society? There is no economy to take care of, no resource distribution, no justice system as all members at this point will be free of sin... what is left for the rulers to do?JehovahsWitness wrote:

I need to show you a few things to understand the power of this verse which has a spiritual hidden message..
The glory of God that is the ark of God symbolic of Christ Jesus who is the glory of God on earth now.
I believe in symbolism for a few reasons. God hides his deep word from the religious, the carnal and gives it to babes. A babe hears his Father is very willing to know what Father has to say. A baby is a in-mature believer who only knows mothers milk (church realm) and will choke on a spiritual stake.
A few verses:
Pro. 25: 2
It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter
1 Corin 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world (age) are come.
NT:5178 a
tupikos (toop-ee-kos'); an adverb related to NT:5179; found only in 1 Cor 10:11: as a warning, by way of example, typologically (i.e. figuratively, as a prophetic type, a typological interpretation of
Matthew 13 :13 Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. 14 And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: 'Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive; 15 For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.' 16 "But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear;
Now that I set a foundation I will explain the Tabernacle of David.

Can you explain why the word "age-during" is used for both life and punishment, but for some reason they mean entirely different things?
Why do you believe "age-eternal" means everlasting in the case of life?
Why do you believe "age-during" does not mean everlasting in the case of punishment?
What reason is there to assume different meanings for the same word in this instance?

The Tabernacle of David was a tent at mt Zion where King David was King and Priest(spiritually speaking) You see the ark of God (glory of God) was in this tent. David got the ark from I believe the philistines who stole it from the religious realm and the last Priest was Icabod (meaning the glory has departed).
Every day David as King has this ark at Zion where He ruled and reigned over all of Israel. (Israel is symbolic of all of God's people). (Jews/Lost tribes) Their was no High Priest, no priest as far as we know. But God's glory was there at Zion in the natural Lordship of King David. Now today David is long dead and we have a much greater King. The King of Kings, Lord of lords King Jesus who shed His blood for of our sins. Zion is no longer a spot on a hill in Jerusalem spiritually speaking. It is God's glory in the ages to come to which god will use to call all heathen people He never called...
1 Corinthians 15:22-24
22For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
I need to take care of some business.

I already posted my answer. Age during just like the word eternal or everlasting have nothing to do with time. It has to do when God accomplish his will in His timing. The verses I post which you did not acknowledged show us how this is going to be accomplished.Justin108 wrote:What does this have to do with the questions I asked...?Benoni wrote: The Tabernacle of David was a tent at mt Zion where King David was King and Priest(spiritually speaking) You see the ark of God (glory of God) was in this tent. You claim this is not the God you served yet you defend these negative words that prove He is the god you serve. A got of torture. Not life.

This means life (which was described as age-during) also has an end. Which means there is no everlasting life.
I'm not defending anything. I'm just resisting your attempt to hide the immorality of the Biblical God. I've come across several people like you. You refuse to accept the fact that the God of the Bible is immoral, and so you cherry pick and selectively interpret the Bible in order to make God look good.Benoni wrote: You claim this is not the God you served yet you defend these negative words that prove He is the god you serve. I do not cherry pick and I never said God is good. God is God. You name it its all His.
I believe he created Satan for His purpose.
I believe all things to include evil were created by Him and for Him.
I believe all men were created in His image and likeness do we are gods little "g". But God before we were created planned that we must fall. You see with out the fall man would be like a childish king with no experience like the first Adam.
I believe the Bible is divine/deep and amazing. but without the Spirit of truth leading and guiding us into all truth is a dead letter just like other religious books like the Quran and the Book of Mormon.
What makes the Bible so special and amazing is How God hides Himself in that book right before your eyes and if you do not see it the way He has laid it out you will never see it. That is why there are 20,000 religious christian religions.
Its like our earlier debate, you cherry picked the word aion or age abiding life. And told me i was preaching when i tried to show you why things are written the way they are written. If you cannot look at both sides of a coin then you are only seeing half the picture.

Then why do you object to the idea that God would torture people for eternity?Benoni wrote: [Replying to post 107 by Justin108]

Why?Benoni wrote:I believe the Bible is divine/deep and amazing.
Do you believe you are lead by the Spirit of truth? Do you believe you are the only one on this site that is lead by the Spirit of truth?Benoni wrote: but without the Spirit of truth leading and guiding us into all truth is a dead letter

I do not cherry pick and I never said God is good. God is God. You name it its all His.Because its a religions lie. Jesus blood is far greater than the sin of Adam. One point I already gave you was the word aion instead of eternal. As well pruning instead of chastisement. Then why do you object to the idea that God would torture people for eternity?
Benoni wrote:I believe the Bible is divine/deep and amazing. That i cannot answer in a one liner. Very deep and I need to cut though a lot of religious dogma. Why?
Benoni wrote: but without the Spirit of truth leading and guiding us into all truth is a dead letterYes.Do you believe you are lead by the Spirit of truth? Do you believe you are the only one on this site that is lead by the Spirit of truth?
No. Most our led by their priest/preacher or system and ignore some facts that are totally contrary to their dogma. I am not even getting close to the really amazing deep revelation of Scripture when I write this. I am speaking of some basic scriptural facts. If God is real and amazing like I say and has a Spirit with in us according to Scripture; what better place to understand but by His Spirit.
Benoni wrote: just like other religious books like the Quran and the Book of Mormon.Another big question that cannot be answered with a one liner. When God reveals a hidden truth to you that has always been there in scripture and is totally contrary to the traditions of religion... that s a good start. How do you know there isn't a Spirit of truth in either of these religions? Why do you assume your religion is true but theirs is false?
example: Matt. 25: speaks of the separation of the sheep and goats. tradition says a goat symbolic of the loss.. The Law of Moses shows us a goat is a clean animal. In fact its a baby goat according to certain translations. If was a pig than that would make since. I believe this chapter is separating the goat believers from the Sheep (Spiritual believers). Notice I am using the Word of God and what it says and using the Bible to answer this hidden secret. God Spirit must reveal these hidden morsels of truth. Thats called revelation.
Benoni wrote:I just wrote an example. What makes the Bible so special and amazing is How God hides Himself in that book right before your eyes
because I have debated many Muslims and Mormons. How do you know he doesn't hide himself in the Quran or the Book of Mormon?
Benoni wrote: That is why there are 20,000 religious christian religions.I do not believe in religion. In Jesus day. Jesus only got mad at the religious of his day the Pharisees and Sadducee. Benoni wrote: Its like our earlier debate, you cherry picked the word aion or age abiding life.
I see it as a mute point. God deals with ages with man. Man is not an eternal being.I never once used the word "aion", nor did I choose "age abiding". You did. All I did was point out your double standard in assuming the same word means two different things regarding "life" and "punishment"
Going to be super busy the next few days. I will try to address your post but it would be easier to address one subject at a time.
