Paradise on Earth

When I learned that the Bible speaks of a restored Garden of Eden and the restoration of mankind to the perfection and endless life that Adam forfeited, I was thrilled. Who doesn't want to keep living on this beautiful earth, with our loved ones, and being able to do all the things we love to do---endlessly?

If God said to you today, "When do you want to die?" would you say "now!!"? I don't think very many people would say that.

We CAN live forever here on Earth. The Bible tells us that we can.

Matthew 5:5

The beauty of it all! Jesus is finally ruling in heaven and getting ready to come back in full-blown power to execute the evil people and set up his Kingdom completely over the earth, so that Paradise will be restored to Earth and mankind. God's original purpose for the Earth cannot be foiled. Adam chose to disobey, but that didn't mean that Paradise was lost here on Earth forever. Jesus will see to it that what his Father planned in the beginning will be brought to fruition, for our benefit and exultation. We will exult in peace and joy, the way it was intended to be from the start. This planet will be fully restored to perfection, to be enjoyed by obedient humans. What a hope set before us now!

Yes indeed, it is not a dream.

Paradise will be restored, the old order of things will pass away and all things will be made new.

Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

Acts 3:21

For he must remain in heaven until the time for the final restoration of all things, as God promised long ago through his holy prophets.

2 Peter 3:

12 as you look forward to the day of God and eagerly await its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat.

13 But in keeping with his promise, we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.

14 So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him.

Revelation 2:7

To him who overcomes, I will grant to eat of the tree of life which is in the Paradise of God.

Revelation 21:

1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, a for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.
2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.
3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, Look! Gods dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.

4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death b or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.

5 He who was seated on the throne said, I am making everything new! Then He said, Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.

No, I am not playing games, onewithhim, or seeking to annoy you.

I just wish for you to catch a glimpse of my point by your own review and discovery. It was quite an experience for me, many years ago.

It is only found in Revelation 20, part of a book of visions that you recognize are generally not intended to be literal, but symbolic.

The scriptures I quoted all say the same thing, that what we wait for is a new heaven and a new earth to appear when Jesus returns.

Of course, I know you will not accept this and what stems from it.

I am on this subforum to present what God says, and it is then up to any reader as to the effect, if any, it has on them.

I hope that now my point is quite clear to you.
