Do we as humans posses an immortal soul as believed by most people? I am of the view that we do not.

Your claim about the Bible is highly questionable, because, in the Bible, we re considered responsible for our actions. If we had no free will, we would be but preprogrammed puppets and therefore responsible for absolutely nothing we did.

No not it all. Its mans nature to sin its called the sin nature it happened when Adam sinned. We have no freewill to save ourselves.

"It's called the sin nature"? Where did you come up with that term? Are you talking about the concept of original sin? If so, that particular concept is largely from to Augustine and company rather than Scripture. As I said before, in Scripture, we re all responsible for our actions. If we were born totally corrupt through and through, then we couldn't help what we did and so could not be held responsible. Plus, if it is our nature to be evil, then so be it. Let's be as evil as we can. It's bad to go against your nature.

The fact that we can't save ourselves has nothing to do with the absence of free will. If I go out , get drunk, and wreck my car, requiring the fire department to rescue me, pull me out, yes, I require help, but it was originally my fault, my bad decisions, and no, I did not have to decide to act that way. Being helpless at one point doe not mean you were helpless at another.
