In the spirit world did------?

Post by placebofactor »

In the spirit world, we're speaking of spiritual creatures like angels, etc. Did any of them ever worship the Father or the Son before or after the incarnation? I will start you off with the following verse to prove me wrong.

Try to be good teachers and stay within the context of these verses. I am quoting from the King James. Use any bible you want, but the rules will apply evenly.

Isaiah 6:1-3, "I (Isaiah) saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple, above it (the throne) stood the seraphims; each one had six wings; and two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he did fly."

Nehemiah 9:6, "Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, and the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee."

Psalms 148:2, "Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts." With verse 5, "Let him praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created."

In Revelation 4:8-11, you can read the verses for yourself and respond.

If the Father sent the Son, they are two of the three Persons of the one God, @OneJack and @1213.

What????????????? The Father is the Almighty God, who is omnipresent. He (the Father) sent Himself to the world through the Son, the man who was born of Mary and to whom He dwelt Himsf for approximately 33 years. God is only one, and His name is Jesus, or Immanuel, or Mighty God, or Eternal Father.

But not YHWH OneJack?
Why not included in the list?

Your beliefs make no sense, @OneJack. How can the Father send himself? The English language deserts you when the subject of the sentence is also the object of the verb.

The teaching that Father sent the Son, Jesus' words in the Gospel of John that he came down from the Father, and John's clear words that the Word was and was with the Father (John 1:1) all point two Persons in the one God. Then, Jesus promised to send "another Helper," the Holy Spirit.

Thus, the one God is three Persons.

Why can't you accept that clear, mysterious teaching? Is it because your personage contradicts the Bible? He shouldn't. If he were the true Jesus, he would confirm, not contradict, the Bible as God's inspired Word.

You/I/They can't send yourself/myself/themselves to the world through another physical body because we are not capable of doing that; we can't be in all places at the same time. But the Father, the Almighty God, whose name is Jesus, can do that even a million times without fail, and He demonstrated that when He came in the flesh during the apostles' time. The Father dwelt in the physical body of the Son of God [the man who was born of Mary in her virgin state] and spoke and lived with the people, as Immanuel and Jesus, at the same time that He is still everywhere. The Son explained this phenomenon in John 14:10-11.
The teaching that Father sent the Son, Jesus' words in the Gospel of John that he came down from the Father, and John's clear words that the Word was and was with the Father (John 1:1) all point two Persons in the one God. Then, Jesus promised to send "another Helper," the Holy Spirit.
Your phrase, 'two Persons', is only in your wildest dream, Bruce. Read John 14:10-11 to see the real scenario about the Father and the Son in this context. The Son was the man who served as the vessel of the Father, whose name is Jesus, or Immanuel, in His incarnation.
Thus, the one God is three Persons.
Do not add your wildest opinion to the scriptures.
Why can't you accept that clear, mysterious teaching? Is it because your personage contradicts the Bible? He shouldn't. If he were the true Jesus, he would confirm, not contradict, the Bible as God's inspired Word.
You're too obsessed with the bible, yet you're still unbiblical with some, or most, of your expressed opinions about God and Jesus.

Sorry, I don't think three person God is what the Bible teaches.

Just now, if not checked, as I noticed you always skipped that personal name of the Father OneJack.

Why always skipped His forever name, "‘יהוה."

Exo 3:15  And Elohim said further to Mosheh, “Thus you are to say to the children of Yisra’ěl, ‘יהוה Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Aḇraham, the Elohim of Yitsḥaq, and the Elohim of Ya‛aqoḇ, has sent me to you. This is My Name forever, and this is My remembrance to all generations.’
