Then how come Moses was allowed to see God's "back parts" (Exodus 33:23) ? Does a spirit have parts, or a back side?2timothy316 wrote: Spirit, if one believes what the Bible says.

God showed Moses His glory in the past and as it move forward in time towards the end. The glory of God is Jesus Christ. Moses wrote about Christ (John 5:46). This is the glory God showed Moses.

There is only one God and one throne of God. Who do you expect to see sitting on the throne of God when you meet your maker?

But whatever, I expect to see the one true God, and Jesus says He is the Father, and He is his God as He is ours.

Do you have a scripture to support your comment? I have one that supports the it matters if you don't know God.
Thess 2:7-9 "and to give relief to you who are afflicted and to us as well when the Lord Jesus will be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire, 8dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,"

The Bible also says that Jehovah put His hand over a crevice. That would be one giant hand! The Bible doesn't go into what a spirit is made of. We know they are not made of flesh and bone and that is about it. The Bible also says of Jehovah, "Look! The heavens, yes, the heaven of the heavens, cannot contain you." 1 Kings 8:27. So when the Bible says Moses saw God's back, was it an actual human looking back or what God would describe to Moses as His 'back'? We just don't know what the back of a spirit creature looks like. Highly unlikely that Moses saw an actual giant back and hand. Even if he did, that doesn't mean God is made of flesh and blood like a human because of the Bible says that even all of space can't hold God then that would be an unimaginable amount of flesh and blood. No, it just makes no sense that God is human like us. Apparently spirit creatures can come to our universe and be fine, but a flesh and blood creature can't exist in the spiritual universe. Which is what Jesus was born a man but returned to live as a spirit because as it has already been pointed out in the Bible "flesh and blood cannot inherit God's Kingdom". 1 Corinthians 15:50Talishi wrote:Then how come Moses was allowed to see God's "back parts" (Exodus 33:23) ? Firstly, No one will have blood in their veins in the resurrection, but they will have flesh and bone.. Please keep in mind that in the resurrection, man will be made in the image and likeness of the glory of God; Jesus Christ. This means that we will have a body of flesh and bone (just like Christ), but it will be glorified (just like Christ's body is), but it will no longer be operated by blood. It will be operated by spirit (just like Christ's). We don't know how it works but we will know in the resurrection (see 1 John 3:2, Psa 17:. Job 19:26, Matt 5:8).
The God that we will be made like in the end is the same God we were made like in the beginning; Jesus Christ, the resurrected Glory of God. He is the beginning and end (Rev 1:8, 11. 21:6, 22:13)
Secondly, Moses asked God to show him His glory. The glory of God is Jesus Christ. Moses wrote the first five books of scripture and Moses wrote about the Gory God showed him from the beginning to the end. Obviously, if Moses wrote about the glory God showed him, Moses wrote about Jesus Christ. Jesus actually said this about God's g;lory and Himself to the Pharisees that persecuted Him: see John 5:39-47
"“You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me; 40and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life. 41“I do not receive glory from men; 42but I know you, that you do not have the love of God in yourselves. 43“I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, you will receive him. 44“How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and you do not seek the glory that is from the one and only God? 45“Do not think that I will accuse you before the Father; the one who accuses you is Moses, in whom you have set your hope. 46“For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me. 47“But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?
Notice vs 47. Jesus said to the seventy, those that heareth you, heareth me. That was His attitude to all of the scriptures. Regardless of the writer, God is the author of all scripture. Therefore when someone reads the writings of Moses, they hear the words of God as if they were coming out of the mouth of God. In vs. 47 JESUS is telling the Jews that if you don't bel;eve what Moses wrote, you don't believe what God has to say. So, if you don'y believe what God says, HOW can you believe my words, because I am God and the words I speak are the words of God
To be saved, we only need to believe what the word of God says and obey it with Faith. These things are not possible with men, but with God all things are possible.

The Hebrew word for hinder parts means to see backwards and the direction forward from the backside
