Do You Know How to Be Saved?

Ask Jesus to forgive you and save you from your sins. That's it. Unlike Christianity, other religions, philosophies, self-help systems and other rubbish within the trash heap of human history, Jesus says: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

It is unwise to view reading the Bible as a religious requirement and worse, to view Jesus as a religion. It is even more unwise to confuse Jesus with Christianity. It is very wise however, to read the Bible and, to read a chapter in the New Testament every morning. Jesus says, if we remain in his word, we will know the truth and the truth will make us free; and if he makes us free, we will be "free indeed" John 8:31-36.

Salvation is "a free gift, not of works, it is a gift of God, not of works less anyone should boast. "Whoever calls on the name of the Lord, shall be saved."

The teaching, 'salvation is free gift....,' is not from the Lord Jesus Christ, whose call to all is as follows, to wit:

'Remember, eternal life and your salvation are in My hands. If you want to be saved, come and draw near to Me. If you want eternal life, come and call upon Me. Trust in Me, because if you don't, you will have no salvation and no eternal life. You will have nowhere to go but to calamity and suffering.'

@Richard Aberdeen, how have professing Christians hurt you? I get it that people can become bitter toward the ones who have wronged them, but it's wrong to transfer that anger to many other people they don't know.
