Superstitious humans - for thousands of years past - have attributed natural disasters to numerous versions of God as punishment for their sins.
Will Christians recognise the outbreak of Coronavirus in Communist China as (another) beginning of the Apocalypse of the Jehovah/Jesus/Holy Ghost version of God …?

Hindus, Muslims, Jews, Buddhists and orthodox Christians make up a little over 90% of the world’s religious people, and just under 75% of the world’s total population. The overwhelming majority of them have from the beginning of their religions said that natural disasters on the whole are not God’s punishment for sin. There are passages in both the Old and New Testaments that explicitly deny that kind of thinking. Some of those religious movements have seen the hand of God in a few specific natural events, and each has minor fringe groups which say that God punishes people regularly through natural disasters. However, on the whole the idea that natural disasters are a punishment from God is rejected by nearly all religious people.

15 “But lif you will not obey the voice of the Lord your God or be careful to do all his commandments and his statutes that I command you today, then all these curses shall come upon you and movertake you. 16 Cursed shall you be nin the city, and cursed shall you be in the field. 17 Cursed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. 18 Cursed shall be the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground, the increase of your herds and the young of your flock. 19 Cursed shall you be when you come in, and cursed shall you be when you go out.
20 “The Lord owill send on you curses, confusion, and pfrustration in all that you undertake to do, quntil you are destroyed and perish quickly on account of the evil of your deeds, because you have forsaken me. 21 The Lord will make rthe pestilence stick to you until he has consumed you off the land that you are entering to take possession of it. 22 sThe Lord will strike you with wasting disease and with fever, inflammation and fiery heat, and with drought1 and with tblight and with mildew. They shall pursue you until you perish. 23 And uthe heavens over your head shall be bronze, and the earth under you shall be iron. 24 The Lord will make the rain of your land powder. From heaven dust shall come down on you until you are destroyed. https://biblia.com/bible/esv/deuteronomy/28/15-68
The "Lord" in this case is the mythological Jehovah … and not the equivalently mythological Krishna or Enki or other versions of "God".
The Christian version of "God" - or the humans who wrote this - threaten natural disasters: including diseases.
Christians regularly pray to the Jehovah/Jesus/Holy Ghost version of "God" for relief from drought and disease and such.
Which means they believe these god/s have involvement in natural disasters.

This Christian prophet already knew …!

But the Coronavirus outbreak (possibly sent by his version of "God" according to some Christians - none of whom are EVER wrong) is an opportunity for the anointing and grace of his version of "God" to flow out of China.
Which will be a great comfort to the families of dead Chinese people.

I know what it is that I recognise ….
Some nice folks knocked on my door the other day to hand me pamphlets and let me know what I could do about it.
I think first class is now full, but I should still be able to get a passage in steerage.

End of the world: Coronavirus panic and African locust plague spark Bible apocalypse fears
THE END OF THE WORLD is upon us, as Coronavirus, an apocalyptic locust plague and the conflict between Iran and the US fulfils the prophecy for Jesus' Second Coming, according to outrageous claims among Biblical scholars. https://www.express.co.uk/news/weird/12 ... -jesus-spt
Mr Sandellin added: “2,000 years ago Jesus made the prediction that in the time before he would come back the world would not be free from disease and outbreaks.

Every time, Christians ….

A different version of "God"
But a VERY familiar dodging and ducking and weaving and nothing resembling a good, straight, honest answer.

Post #10In this case it seems it is more probable that the disease is man-made and intentionally some want to cause death. Probably by people who have this goal:SallyF wrote: Superstitious humans - for thousands of years past - have attributed natural disasters to numerous versions of God as punishment for their sins.
