The canon is what is officially accepted as part of the Bible, but that official acceptance isn't a guarantee of the text's veracity. Even if it took place historically, the chapter's opening statement that God ordered it is a purely religious claim and open to question.

Therein lies the key.

Bible cannot / has not been shown to be a reliable source of information about 'God'. It is just CLAIMED to be so by believers -- which is nothing more than OPINION.

The Genocidal Jehovah god is NEVER shown to be anything other than imaginary.

We have struggled here to find a god that is more evil than the Genocidal Jehovah.

It is therefore reasonable to conclude that Jehovah is the most evil god ever imagined.

And we can only imagine the evil acts the Genocidal Jehovah and the Soon-to-be-Genocidal Jesus and the Holy Ghost will perform when they eventually return to this planet to exterminate non-Christians.

Can you believe how EVIL that will be ?

Ok, I have my answer and anyone reading this should have theirs. You do not believe the Bible to be the divine Word of God. Morality or natural morality is whatever you understand it to be.

Yes, God would be considered very evil by the worlds standards. His return is called the 3rd Woe. Im sorry if you consider that evil. It isnt to the God of the Bible.

It is questionable that you do not find it evil,since, although you and your minority ilk MAY find paradise.
Everyone, the overwhelming majority, will find suffering.
In every other religious or ethical line of though, the minority gaining to the detriment of the majority, it is malign.
If that isnt evil, what is?

It may be more accurate to say that societies decide what is moral. Individuals may have personal opinions that differ from their society but the society prevails overall.

Societies may adopt some mores from a religion or multiple religions to a greater or lesser degree; however, that is optional (same for individuals).

Let's call the lowercase god - the "God of the Bible" - by its name

Jehovah/Yahweh/YHWH/Whatever

Jehovah is NEVER shown to be anything other than the product of human minds.

Human minds have also produced standards of good and evil that are consistent across cultures and millennia.

We have established here - using those standards - that no other god is imagined by human minds to be more evil than the imaginary, evil, Genocidal Jehovah.

If a single soul were able to demonstrate that the Genocidal Jehovah was anything more than the product of human imagination .

I personally do not believe in the eternal hell that most of contemporary Christianity does. In fact, just for those reading this, the bad guy will be given around 100 years of life in the Kingdom, then annihilation (Isa 65.) Regardless, if that is the Creators will, than you can find it as evil as you want. It wont change anything.

I would like to ask though. If there is a Creator God, and that is His will, would you stand against it?
