Non biolgical beings

Post by McCulloch »

Various religions make claims that certain spiritual or magical beings exist.

Fairies, Djinn, Goblins, Angels, Cherubim, Seraphim, Demons, Satan are all said to exist.

Do any of these beings really exist? Are they active in our world? Provide evidence to support any positive claims.
Examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good.
First Epistle to the Church of the Thessalonians
The truth will make you free.
Gospel of John

jinns are creatures created with fire . they can hide also they can harm people by attcking them also they get inside the bodies of human kind

angels are creatures created with light they are invisibles, they live in the sky , they never eat or drink , they are kinds
there is the angel of thunders ( who make thunders) , the angel of death
who take the souls of people when allah order him to do that
angels of rain .... etc

satan (sheitan)
is a creature created with fire
satan who whispers into hearts of people
satans can not harm people but they can whispers into hearts

for example: they whisper in you heart and ask you not to embrace islam because they want allah to put you in the hell

this is the story of sheitan in the quraan you cn read it

allah said :
67. Say: "That (this Qur’ân) is a great news,

68. "From which you turn away!

69. "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam).

70. "Only this has been revealed to me, that I am a plain warner."

71. (Remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Truly I am going to create man from clay".

72. So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him."

73. So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them:

74. Except Iblîs (Satan): he was proud[1] and was one of the disbelievers.

75. (Allâh) said: "O Iblîs (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands[2]. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?"

76. [Iblîs (Satan)] said: "I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay."

77. (Allâh) said: "Then get out from here; for verily you are outcast.

78. "And verily My Curse is on you till the Day of Recompense."

79. [Iblîs (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected."

80. (Allâh) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite."

81. "Till the Day of the time appointed."

82. [Iblîs (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all,

83. "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (i.e. faithful, obedient, true believers of Islâmic Monotheism)."
84. (Allâh) said: "The Truth is - and the Truth I say -

85. That I will fill Hell with you [Iblîs (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together."

86. Say (O Muhammad ): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Qur’ân), nor am I one of the Mutakallifûn (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist).

87. "It (this Qur’ân) is only a Reminder for all the ‘Âlamîn (mankind and jinn).

88. "And you shall certainly know the truth of it after a while"

"I read it in a book and a person also said the same thing."

How depressing is that! :(

Do you demand equally rigorous proof of everything else in life, or are you sometimes a little more relaxed about it?
Desire for such a deity sprang from infantile yearnings for a powerful, protective father, for justice and fairness and for life to go on forever. God is simply a projection of these desires... - Sigmund Freud

I think the question, CTI, is "what makes mohammed right?"
If the answer to that is "he was told by God", then the question is -
"how do you know that?"[/b]

first of all ,, you have to believe in allah to believe what he said
also you can read his stories (mohammed) from any good source like saheeh albukhary and al muslim
if you read all of his stories you can decide if he right or nup

That doesn't answer the question. How did YOU decide he was right? On what basis did you decide all of the claims made by mohammed were true?

If the answer to that is "I believed in Allah first", then the question is -

Why?

because of that i asked you to read the good sources of that like (saheeh al-bukhary and al muslim and ibnkatheer ...etc)

Why?
because he is the god who created you

how would you know that ?!

use your head and think about the one who created the sky,the earth, human.animals, planets !! there must be a god

Fair enough. I'm a bit pressed for time though. What did YOU find in those books that proved Allah - and subsequently Mohammed - were to be believed about such extraordinary claims as those you list?

Christians have said the same thing to me.

Anyway if a god made the universe, what made the god?
