The Quran and the Bible

Post by cholland »

Sura 4:136 - O you who believe, you shall believe in GOD and His messenger, and the scripture He has revealed through His messenger, and the scripture He has revealed before that. Anyone who refuses to believe in GOD, and His angels, and His scriptures, and His messengers, and the Last Day, has indeed strayed far astray.

If the Quran advises Muslims to "believe...the scripture He has revealed before that", why don't they believe the Bible?

Actually, the only thing that you did was to google some ayahs and then cut-n-paste them as a reply.

When pressed to actually go through the ayahs, you become upset and run.

you are afraid to accept that Quran is the truth, and bible is fake, so what I can do. Islam tells no compulsion in religion, I can;t force you to accept it. If you dont want to understand, thn dont understand, just its a req, dont bring false meanings and interpretations of Quran.
And also please write Quran, its not Koran:)
This is, once again, pure islamic myth.

No where in the entire Koran, does it state that the Holy Bible is "fake".

Time to put aside your emotions and be honest with yourself, brother...

In no place in the bible does it say that the Vedas are fake.

In no place in the bible does it say that the Quran is fake.

The truth or falsehood of the Bible, the Vedas and the Quran is not dependent on what
the scriptures of other religions say about it.

Somehow, since you are using very bad translations of the Bible , and take words out of context to 'prove' the trinity is in the Jewish scriptures.
“What do you think science is? There is nothing magical about science. It is simply a systematic way for carefully and thoroughly observing nature and using consistent logic to evaluate results. So which part of that exactly do you disagree with? Do you disagree with being thorough? Using careful observation? Being systematic? Or using consistent logic?

As the general members here , dont know arabic, and as you are very famous for changing the texts in your interpretation, only english translation will be posted here, from authentic source.

"Know they not Allah Knoweth what they conceal and what they reveal? And there are among them illiterates, who know not the Book but (see therein their own) desires, and they do nothing but conjecture. Then woe to those who write the Book with their own hands, and then say: 'This is from Allah,' to traffic with it for a miserable price! Woe to them for what their hands do write, and for the gain they make thereby. (The Noble Qur'an, 2:77-79)

The Book refers to the book of the People of the Book(aka Men of Faith), which section 9 in Chapter 2 talks about. The Noble Qur'an clearly says that the Book was corrupted by men, those who write the Book with their own hands, and then say: 'This is from Allah,. It cant get any clearer then that!

Where is the Arabic brother?

You have to be able to relate your googled renderings to the original Arabic.

Arabic of Quran is crystal clear, what meaning you are deriving, is not clear and not correct:)
