About Head to Head debate

I've attempted to issue a request to debate with theopoesis on the request thread indicated in the h2h forum but I keep getting this response:

"Sorry, but only users granted special access can post topics in this subforum."

I'm probably missing something obvious but can someone assist me in setting up a debate?
