Book Debate on The Karamazov Brothers, Dostoevsky
Post #1I would like to open a book debate on The Karamazov brothers, the last novel written by Fyodor Dostoevsky. The novel has many political, philosophical and religious aspects to it perhaps we could break up some of the aspects to debate about it or sections of the novel, there is much worthy of debate within the first few chapters so i think it would be a really good thread.
Religion feels to me a little like a Nigerian Prince scam. The "offer" is illegitimate, the "request" is unreasonable and the source is dubious, in fact, Nigeria doesn't even have a royal family.

Hello, my thread trying to round up people for the debate was moved to "Book debates". I cannot post there, neither can people without access, most people don't look there. It's going to be very difficult to round people up with the thread in that subforum. Could it please be moved back to Christianity and Apologetics?

I've created the group and added you three. It's also an open group so anyone can join it.
You should be able to create a thread in the book debate subforum now.
