Welcome!

It seems to me, that new members rarely post a introduction thread anymore. As such I am making this thread as a way that new members can say hi, and get to know a couple of people on the forums.

So to all the new members:

First of all, hello!

Second, why don't you tell us a little bit about yourself?
“People generally quarrel because they cannot argue.
- G.K. Chesterton

“A detective story generally describes six living men discussing how it is that a man is dead. A modern philosophic story generally describes six dead men discussing how any man can possibly be alive.
- G.K. Chesterton

Good morning, everyone. Since I brand new to this forum, I've been asked to tell a little bit about myself.

I am a retired military member (Air Force) and also am retired from medical research, my second career.

I have had a long time interest in history, and that includes the history of the early Christian period.

I like to share data. But I do ask that data presented be documentable rather than just opinion unless that opinion can be shown to be well founded.

I'm not sure what led to a change. I just gradually found myself drifting away from atheism towards agnosticism... and right to the other end of the atheist-theistic spectrum.

Considering I used to be a very strong atheist, I find this somewhat odd.

I hope to be able to have rational discourse about all subjects. I am an author of many books addressing religion and the politics of it as well as so-called conspiracies or the illuminati.

Hi! My name is Nails and I'm a Libra. I enjoy long windy walks in the park, candlelight dinners and holding hands... ;)

Seriously, I'm a long time atheist currently living in an ocean of theists. Voracious reader, seeker of knowledge, endlessly curious, metal worker, apprentice woodworker, wine lover, veteran, bare knuckle fighter... active nudist.

Just kidding. Not really. It's all true. No. :P

Glad to be here!

Do you have any favorite nudist parks? There is one called Land Orient Trust or Valley View Hot Springs in Colorado with natural hot springs that I really loved.

Welcome to the forum.
His invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made.

I'm also a recovering atheist, same time frame too (it was July 2002 for me). Been taking baby steps ever since.
