As usual, in current threads The Flood is frequently mentioned. Let's focus on examining the truth and accuracy of the story.

Genesis is quite specific in claiming that the Earth was flooded to beyond the tops of mountains, that all life 'that breathes' was exterminated if not on the ark, that 960 hours (40 days and nights) produced the acclaimed water depth, etc.

Those who maintain that the tale is true are asked to provide evidence (not conjecture, unverified tales, personal opinions) that said flood occurred as described.
