Repealing unjust Islamic laws
Post #2Unfortunately, according to Islam, Islam was PERFECT at the time of Mohammed and given by Allah himself.
Something that is perfect cannot be changed to something that is less perfect.
There is no room in Islam for repealing of Sharia Law or that upheld by the Koran or Sunnah of Mohammed.
The Koran or the Sunnah cannot be seen as being a "mistake" an "Error" or "only for barbaric times".
It is for all time.
Modernists, liberals and Western Muslims are mistaken if they think they can bring Islam into the 21st C.
Surah 65:4 is supposed to be the direct words of Allah...and therefore he ordained that a child married before Puberty can be sexually active. Otherwise she would NOT need an iddah or waiting period to see if she becomes pregnant. IF ALLAH SAYS THAT CHILD MARRIAGE IS LAWFUL...there is no-one who can repeal it.

1- Our Law is something we agreed to and no one has the right to change it.
2- Start studying first when those rules are applied and how many times it was applied and the reason of applying it, at the life of our prophet.
3- ( 2. Death penalty for blasphemy. 5. Son gets twice as much inheritance as a daughter. 9. Husbands are allowed to punish disobedient wives by beating them. )
those claims are misleading and shows lack of knowledge
4- I will reply each one later on

Post #4Please see the links for each of the laws for more information about them. You will then see that my claims are not misleading.mms20102 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 10, 2020 2:59 pm [Replying to post 1 by Compassionist]

Re: Repealing unjust Islamic laws
Post #5Just because a book is claimed to be of divine origin it does not make it so. There are many religions and they all contradict each other and science. I care about truth and ethics. “Ethics, too, are nothing but reverence for life. This is what gives me the fundamental principle of morality, namely, that good consists in maintaining, promoting, and enhancing life, and that destroying, injuring, and limiting life are evil.” – Albert Schweitzer, “Civilization and Ethics”, 1949.letschat wrote: ↑Mon Sep 02, 2019 12:52 am Unfortunately, according to Islam, Islam was PERFECT at the time of Mohammed and given by Allah himself.

All the links that you have sent is just nothing but a shallow understanding of the rules and its application. First of all the only one to apply the law is the "Ruler" or someone he appoints and the law is applied after the victim being judged.
1- Death penalty for apostasy, there is a lovely series made by Dr. Fadel Suliman to reply to such claims and the video replying to your claim is here
2- Death penalty for blasphemy, I guess you didn't read the Article words "they prescribe penalties up to the death penalty for blasphemy". since you live in an Islamic country you should respect its rules what ever the rules are and I guess if a country decide for some reason that marriage of more than one is punishable then those who live there should respect the law or simply leave so you have the same choice.
3- Death penalty for homosexuality. As it seems you don't understand the difference between sexual orientation and sexual action, Islam is not going to kill a man that has wrong feelings or emotional disorder and also Islam is not going to search and spy every house looking for homosexuals. so moral of the story only the action of homosexuals is punishable and again this is the rule of the religion just like in Christianity and Judaism.
4- Death penalty for adultery. Well your superficial knowledge makes it like if I would say you are adulterous then people will kill you simply... Islam has more complications when it comes to life matters in fact one of the stories about a man confessed to prophet Muhammed that he committed adultery ( There is a difference between premarital sex and adultery and same goes for the punishment) and then the prophet went away but the man insisted that he want to be judged and the law be applied on him but the prophet kept asking him to make sure that he did it, and after being sure the prophet asked his family and friends if he is "mad" and they said he is mentally healthy and only after this he told people to gather to apply the law and while the man is being stoned he ran away and one of the men took a big rock and hit his head landing him dead. The prophet said why you killed him ? maybe he would repent to God and God forgive him.
5- Son gets twice as much inheritance as a daughter. https://quran.com/4/11
Either you didn't read or you didn't understand again I will refer for the video for a reply
6- Two female witnesses are required to counter one male witness.
Again refer to the video for better coverage
7- If you take theology from news then you can say wonders.
8. Males are allowed to have 4 wives but females are not allowed to have 4 husbands. https://quran.com/4/3
According to statistics Females in Russian and USA and Canada and almost all European are more than males add to this according to statistics the average number of partners for a male is more than 3 still in the US and European countries so if one is not enough in a life time why you do this?
You see I hate emotional speech with no rational thinking. Males body is designed to be capable of marrying more than one and infact some cases requires men to marry more than one and the reason is marriage in Islam is related to only sexual pleasure. In fact marriage in Islam requires responsibility and we can take wars as an example on why two females or more, in Canada there are more than Canadian females more than males excluding Homosexuals from both sides so every man marries a woman there will be at least 10 million unmarried females the Question comes do they have to commit fornication or self sexual acts or homosexuality or marry ? For me to marry is the best solution.
9. Husbands are allowed to punish disobedient wives by beating them. https://quran.com/4/34
Again i will refer to a video
10. Chopping off a limb for theft. https://quran.com/5/33-43
Ok i will ask if you know that the government will cut your hand if you steal will this cause you to think twice or knowing you will go to jail for some time and go out ? and what is the amount of stolen things is the limit to apply the rule ?

The Question that i want to ask you how can you define Ethics?! and how can you define what's right and wrong ?
