Matthew 27:52 The tombs broke open, and the bodies of many saints who had fallen asleep were raised. 53 After Jesus’ resurrection, when they had come out of the tombs, they entered the holy city and appeared to many people.

It is part of the 'resurrection' story, so it MUST be true. Right?

Corpses rising from graves and going to town? Gospel writers wouldn't make up things, would they?

What they wrote was really true, wasn't it?

Well, yes, the account is not presented as fiction and the implied request of the gospel narratives is that the writers be believed. It's not imposed but the message is presented as truthful narrative and as such the request is implicit if not explicit.

Since the topic centers on belief I think it not misplaced to voice my own, namely that I absolutely do believe that and all inspired scripture to be 100% accurate.

Since this question has been posed within a general topic of beliefs, I am going to proceed in that vein, ie that there *is* a place in this debate to voice one's beliefs, so I am now going to state a belief (not a mathematical or scientifically proven fact), only what I believe and would stake my life on...

I believe "inspired scripture" to be the body of written script found in the present day "protestant" 66 book bible canon.

There is no rule that says anyone has to prove anything. If someone insists you must prove something, challenge them where is it a requirement on the forum that something needs to be proved.
