Re: The Curse of Christ
The manner in which He was executed. Same verse:
"Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree..."
From Deuteronomy 21:23,
"... you must not leave the body on the tree overnight, but you must be sure to bury him that day, because anyone who is hung on a tree is under God's curse."
Christ suffered the the death of one who is cursed so that His sacrifice and His blood covers even them.
Did I understand your question correctly?
Peace again to you,

Peace again to you,
Paul says He became a curse for us.
It is similar to when Paul said that Christ took punishment for us (such as death). But He took the worse kind of execution - being hung on a tree (a cursed death). In doing so, He covered everyone, even those who suffered the death of a cursed person.

Peace to you, and thank you for elaborating on what you were thinking.
No of course not.
Life is the blessing (the blessing that we receive in coming to and being in Christ). The curse is death (which is the wages of sin, except that we have life in Christ).
I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live, Deuteronomy 30:19
You were probably wondering more about the hardship (from the world, from the Adversary) that was promised to come to those who follow and belong to Christ (Jaheshua). Christ did not promise us a rose-garden in this world; Christ said that in this world we will have trouble. But that was not a curse; certainly not the curse that Paul is referring to. That was just Christ telling us the truth, so that we may be forewarned and prepared.
Peace again to you!
