Why does God do in days...

God is immortal, eternal, all-powerful. There is nothing that he can't do. In that case, why did God take six days to create the world when he could have done it in an instant? Why did he have to rest on the seventh day? Why did God send out a 40 day flood when he could have purified the earth with but a thought?

whats a wiccan?
are they sorcerers(I infered taht from the pointy hat thing)?
Going back to the thing about time: A day for God could be an eon or a nanosecond. I also strongly believe that God did the creation in steps to be an example for christians. That is why it is a strong jewish law that you are not to work on sabbaths.
