Ask Jesus to forgive you and save you from your sins. That's it. Unlike Christianity, other religions, philosophies, self-help systems and other rubbish within the trash heap of human history, Jesus says: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

It is unwise to view reading the Bible as a religious requirement and worse, to view Jesus as a religion. It is even more unwise to confuse Jesus with Christianity. It is very wise however, to read the Bible and, to read a chapter in the New Testament every morning. Jesus says, if we remain in his word, we will know the truth and the truth will make us free; and if he makes us free, we will be "free indeed" John 8:31-36.

THE BIBLE God spoke /acted - his messengers (Moses, the Apostles, Paul etc) wrote down what he said - we read what he said and did - God gives us understanding of what we read - we react (and act on that understanding) - we share (quote) what the bible "tells us" (the message it conveyes) - we share the understanding God has given .

....don't misunderstand that God always gives us wisdom for the right understanding of everything we read in the Bible....

I agree but the question is does the DEVIL give the correct understanding of the bible?

The devil's job is to lead the people astray to the path leading to the kingdom of God; hence, he makes the bible as if it were 'on par' with God so that the people's attention will be drawn nigh and directed straight to the bible, instead of the real and forever living Christ Jesus.

Satan, by all means, twists anything about God, but makes lies as if they were truths to mislead the people.

That would be your greatest error if you believed that Satan would tell the people to scrap the bible altogether. Whether you like it or not, the Bible is Satan's effective weapon in luring people to the wrong faith and path to God's kingdom.

If the devil were to appear to a person in disguise, would he say "Go and read your bible and learn about the True God"? or would he say "God and burn the bible and then come back and worship me alone"? ( Matthew 4:1-11)

Your opinion, even a bit, doesn't have a semblance of truth about the devil's way of leading people astray from the right path to salvation and eternal life through the use of the bible.

Wisdom is not understanding what one reads. Wisdom is applying what is true for the positive good of humanity. There is a vast difference between knowledge and wisdom.

As an example, many scientists today have knowledge, but they demonstrate little wisdom, as the use their knowledge for esoteric science and space exploration, rather than using it to alleviate famine, war, mass pollution and other human oppression.

Please refrain from guessing what Satan exactly does with the Bible, since you, by your narratives, do not have any idea about Satan’s ploy in using the Bible to draw people away from Christ, the Almighty God, whose name is Jesus.

Satan’s job is to steal - steal the real and authentic words that emanate from the mouth of the Lord Jesus Christ, not the words written in the bible, which he (Satan) uses, though not all, as his effective weapon in luring people to deception.

But did you not say the following ...

This is a false doctrine from a denomination, which says, verbatim, 'JESUS CHRIST consistently directed people back to the written Scriptures as the standard by which teachings, traditions, claims, and testimonies were to be evaluated.' The Lord reminded His listeners of the words that God had spoken and were written in the scriptures. The Lord is not telling them to go to the scriptures to know what is true, whether about God or anything related to the salvation and eternal life of people's souls. All of us have to come to the Lord for the truth, as simple as that.
