Haven't we all, at one time or another, wondered what the future will be like? Experts of men have had a spotty reputation as most of their predictions have proved untrue.
What does the Bible tell us? "The God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed....It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever." (Daniel 2:44, Revised Standard Version)
Is this good news? Of course, when we realize what God's Kingdom is. It is a real government that will replace all of the existing governments on the earth and stand forever. Stability and order will be brought to people on the earth. What will life be like under this government?
NO MORE WAR (Psalm 46:9)
NO MORE SICKNESS (Isaiah 33:24)
NO MORE FOOD SHORTAGE (Psalm 72:16)
NO MORE PAIN, SORROW AND DEATH (Revelation 21:4)
These are just some of the promises made in the Bible about God's Kingdom, and there are more. God has promised all these wonderful things for the future. All righteously inclined people can avail themselves of these promises. Does this sound good to you?

You say the Kingdom is not for the future? Has Daniel 2:44 been fulfilled? Have all of the governments of men been demolished?
"And in the days of those kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed, nor shall the sovereignty thereof be left to another people; but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever."
I said, "The Kingdom is not for tomorrow, it already started with Yahshua, nearly 2000 years ago!"
I never said where it would all go once it started with Yahshua. Now when the number of all the chosen of all remnants are saved then the Kingdom is mature and the Kingdom returned to the Father, in that future time.
(Dan 2:34) You saw until a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet that were of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces.
(Dan 2:35) Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken in pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, so that no place was found for them: and the stone that struck the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.
(Dan 2:44) In the days of those kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed, nor shall its sovereignty be left to another people; it shall crush to powder and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.
(Dan 2:45) As you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God has made known to the king what shall happen hereafter: and the dream is certain, and its interpretation sure.
Especially view the bolded areas in this scripture above.
Again as I've attempted to communicate this idea before:
It was during this time, that Christ was born. And during his generation, on the backs of slaves within the Roman Empire, the Kingdom of God was established by his Son, as symbolized by the rock cut out without human hands.
When Christ ascended to heaven, he established the Kingdom of his Father and caused the feet of the image to break and fall to cause it to topple, and to become as chaff and be blown away; to disappear for good. It may have taken decades to completely destroy the image of human rulership of the earth, although it did happen in time. The Kingdom that brought the gospel travelled far and wide and became a large mountain indeed, surpassing in power all the human kingdoms of the past. It completely replaced the statue of the four historical major power of the world since the stone ‘struck’ the image and for any others that would follow on in the future amongst the nations. Now, as then in the 1st century, embedded within the nations in each generation, are now citizens of this still invisible Kingdom. And I'm one of them. The Kingdom grew and is still growing today until it consummation with our future resurrection.

Re: THE FUTURE
Post #262But Daniel 2:44 says that all governments will be destroyed and God's own Kingdom will rule forever. We haven't seen that yet. The stone that struck the other governments is God's government, His Kingdom. It has yet to take over the earth, and, according to the dream of the image, we are living in the time of the last world powers, including the United States and Britain. Look up "immense image" online and see what the image is thought of by most, and they are mostly correct.APAK wrote: ↑Sat Apr 19, 2025 1:20 pmDaniel 2:44 and including v.45, along with v. 34.v 35 are quite fitting verses for the subject of my last few posts.onewithhim wrote: ↑Sat Apr 19, 2025 9:16 amSo what does Daniel 2:44 mean?APAK wrote: ↑Fri Apr 18, 2025 9:05 pmChrist has been 'ruling' and continues to this day, not in the way you must be thinking or imaging how he rules, as with some type of physical intervention with the nations, showing his physical power etc. That is what movies are made of. Re: THE FUTURE
Post #264MY QUESTION Can you please list some of the earthly benefits of the Messianic rule along with their related scriptures
CHATGPT provided the following...
Could it be that Jesus' Messianic rule will remedy the suffering, premature death, hunger and pain we witness today and that presently we are living under secular rule ultimately controlled by Satan due for future destruction as prophecied at Daniel 2v44?Does it seem reasonable to conclude that we are currently benefiting from the culmination of the rule described above?

How does the Kingdom become "mature" when, as you say, Jesus has been ruling for 2,000 years? All that time and the Kingdom is not mature? And you didn't say anything about Daniel 2:44.

1. In the days of those Kings meaning in the times of Christ not of any future Kingdoms, national powers or its leaders.
2. The Kingdom of God is established (by Christ) and its sovereignty is not of any man, or will be governed by any nation(s), as it is divine, of heaven not of the earth. It is for people of the new realm with new bodies fit for a heavenly paradise, not for human flesh
3. This Kingdom will not, and cannot be destroyed and by strong implication by any man.
4. This Kingdom WILL crush the other 4 Kingdoms and by association all other future national human powers or coalitions.
And in order to do this, the Kingdom began upon Christ's ascension and the stone they rejected will be transformed into a mountain of believers, of the people of God.
The Kingdom had to be established by Christ since his ascension as to grow and mature each believer in their lives, in each generation. He rules today in their hearts, and they will be in the future raised and transformed into a new immortal body, at the end in the new heavens and the new earth.
If the KoG was to be first established in the future when Christ returns, they why does scripture explicitly say he is the King of kings and Lord of lords after he went to heaven.
(Mar 9:1)And he said to them: Truly I say to you: There are some standing here, who shall in no way taste death, before they see the kingdom of God come with power.
Yahshua became King of Kings and Lord of lords when he ascended to heaven.
(1Ti 6:15) In due time He shall reveal him, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords,
And how do we grow being saved today with the spirit of Christ, indwelt? Do we stay in a type of hibernation state for the future? I do not think so. I know that I'm conforming to the mind and image of Christ today, not in some distant future. I would have to drastically change the way I believe I'm being saved today...
We do not start living and maturing in Christ tomorrow, only once in an immortal state or body, we start the moment we are converted!! And therefore, Christ rules today, not tomorrow, in every genuine believer's heart, for the future state of the new earth or new Eden.
Many as you, and not just the good JWs, also many Pre-mills, who are Unitarians of various kinds, Christadelphians especially, drown out and even discard their value in salvation, TODAY, waiting first for a future destruction of this world and national governance at the expense of their precious and active salvation and its growth today. And that's a real shame. I would never trade my salvation and its value over a recent 200 year old theory in eschatology.
Blessings..

Re: THE FUTURE
Post #267We value Christ's ransom sacrifice for all. He showed his great love for humans and for his Father by succumbing to a horrible death, all for our salvation. He has been Lord of lords, yes. But he didn't set up his Kingdom until, Bible chronology shows us, 1914 when the Gentiles had their chance of proving they could rule the world but their day was over because they failed. Now we are in the last days. The stone out of the mountain has not struck the image yet. It's coming soon. We are now in the feet of this image. The Kingdom will put an end to all of man's governments and it will rule over the earth forever. I really don't know why you find fault with this scenario.APAK wrote: ↑Mon Apr 21, 2025 10:42 amNo, this one and only verse 44 you are willing to hang your belief on does not say that at all.

Post #269It represents the time when the Kingdom of God was established. When Christ ascended into heaven. It gave the King the knowledge that God has a plan to begin his conquest of the minds and hearts of mankind, not with weaponry against mortal men either. The works of men and their Kingdoms or national powers will all be swept away in time, when the KoG is the only Kingdom, as the new earth along with the new heavens.JehovahsWitness wrote: ↑Mon Apr 21, 2025 6:39 amThe entire image was completely destroyed, made to disappear and replaced. What do you take the image to represent?
a) The Roman Empire
b) All secular governmental rulerships
c) Other... please explain.

Re: THE FUTURE
Post #270We are in the last moments of the last days. The stone that comes out of the proverbial mountain is ready to strike the feet of the great image of Daniel chapter 2, where we happen to be.APAK wrote: ↑Tue Apr 22, 2025 7:34 amI do know one thing, that when the Mountain of God has reached it maximum size or even showing signs of regression, Christ surely is in the wings for sure. And I think we are only a few generations away. God only knows.onewithhim wrote: ↑Mon Apr 21, 2025 9:07 pmWe value Christ's ransom sacrifice for all. Read along as it says:onewithhim wrote: ↑Sun Apr 20, 2025 9:41 pmBut Daniel 2:44 says that all governments will be destroyed and God's own Kingdom will rule forever. We haven't seen that yet. The stone that struck the other governments is God's government, His Kingdom. It has yet to take over the earth, and, according to the dream of the image, we are living in the time of the last world powers, including the United States and Britain. Look up "immense image" online and see what the image is thought of by most, and they are mostly correct.APAK wrote: ↑Sat Apr 19, 2025 1:20 pm
Daniel 2:44 and including v.45, along with v. 34.v 35 are quite fitting verses for the subject of my last few posts.
