Reincarnation Words and Phrases in the Bible

Post by Base12 »

The Christian Bible teaches Earth to Earth reincarnation for the unredeemed. From Genesis to Revelation, themes of reincarnation can be found interwoven into the holy text.

Since Christians are told the lie that reincarnation is not Biblical, they are unable to see the plethora of words and phrases used to describe reincarnation, even though said is right in front of them.

This thread will list some of the words and phrases used in the Bible in order to help those that are tired of the blasphemous lies the Church teaches and wish to 'deprogram' themselves.

Earth Dwellers

Those that are unwilling to leave Earth behind are doomed to repeat another cycle of reincarnation back here again. Scripture uses the phrase 'those that dwell on the Earth' to describe them.

GENESIS 1:20 - Darby Bible Translation

"And God said, Let the waters swarm with swarms of living souls, and let fowl fly above the earth in the expanse of the heavens.
Would be nice to know why that translation says "living souls" and not "living creatures, like for example Young's literal translation. ...
Do you think it would have something to do with the meaning of the Hebrew? Do you think there could be any value in reading all the instances where the original Hebrew or Greek word is found in the bible ?

Yes, I didn't find the meaning "soul" from the Hebrew words. Could you show how translator can get the word soul from the Hebrew in that scripture?
My new book can be read freely from here:

Old version can be read from here:

Well what a translator will do is firstly to find every single instance of the Hebrew word in scripture and read the context. From those instances he will build up a working definition of what the word meant to bible writers. He will then compare the Greek translation (for example the Septuagint) and compare how that word is used. From all of the above he will write a comprehensive definition of the word, a definition that encompasses all the contextual uses, ie that covers the ones in the oceans, the one Adam became, the one that is a dead one, the blood of the one ... etc)

Hope that helps,

JW

Genesis 2:7 And the "I AM" God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became alive and was given a soul [spirit Being] (human+being).

From: https://biblehub.com/text/genesis/2-7.htm

לְנֶ֥פֶשׁ (lə-ne-p̄eš) = a being (Strong's 5315 [e])

חַיָּֽה׃ (ḥay-yāh) = living

a living (spiritual) being = a soul

-------

Psalm 16:10 For Thou wilt not leave my soul in hell (planet Earth); neither wilt Thou suffer Thine Holy One to see corruption.

From: https://biblehub.com/text/psalms/16-10.htm

נַפְשִׁ֣י (nap̄-šî) = soul (Strong's 5315 [e])

Strong's 5315 [e]
5315. nephesh
https://biblehub.com/hebrew/5315.htm

-------

A soul is a spiritual-Being. Concerning life here on Earth, God places a soul inside of a human body (the flesh) sometime after it is born, so that soul can experience and feel everything that the body experiences and feels, and learn "self"-control through self-discipline. The human/flesh and the soul/Being together become a human+Being.

The soul/spiritual-Being is liberated from the body at or just before the death of the human body, at which time it is brought to "paradise", aka "the astral plane/plain", to receive its life review (for the human life it just lived).

After our life review, the knowledge of evil that has been accumulated during the most recent incarnation is erased, and we are then sent back, with the cumulative knowledge of good that we’ve learned through ALL our previous incarnations. That way each Soul is in the exact place it has earned a right to be, in eternal time. Perfect divine justice.

Is there any physical evidence of this? Absolutely. There are numerous accounts of people having similar out of body experiences, particularly “NDEs” (near-death experiences). One book on this subject for those who may be interested: “Return from Death: An Exploration of the Near-death Experience” by Margot Grey.
