A QUESTION FOR ANYONE WHO HOLDS TO FREE WILL UNTO SALVATION

Post by Eddie Ramos »

How is it possible for someone to think they are truly saved (based on their free will), but truly not be saved at all?

Proverbs 30:12 (KJV 1900)
There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes,
And yet is not washed from their filthiness.

Matthew 7:22–23 (KJV 1900)
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Acts 8:13 (KJV 1900)
Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.
Acts 8:21–23 (KJV 1900)
Thou (Simon) hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God. 22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee. 23 For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.

True, no man is immortal because he can always decide to sin, just as Adam did. But humans CAN live forever if they remain with the true God and live under His precepts. (Immortality and humans living forever are two separate ideas. Immortality is afforded only to Jesus and his co-rulers. Humans are not immortal but they can live forever as long as they obey Jehovah.)
Jesus was a man:

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; (1 Timothy 2:5)

Jesus remained with the true God and lived under His precepts, and still died.

So your claim that humans live forever until they sin is debunked.
Jesus was a perfect man, not a regular man, without sin, and he died because the purpose was to free the human race from sin and death. No other man could do this. If he had not submitted himself to death he would still be here on Earth and could live forever here. But there was a special assignment for him. Only a perfect man like himself could free humans from death. It applies to every other man and woman that they can live forever here on Earth in their physical bodies as long as they obey Jehovah.

Where are all of these humans who are living on the earth forever?

Seems like the earth could not sustain all of them.

Perhaps no human has yet qualified by "remaining with the true God and living under His precepts" and continuing to obey Jehovah.

Can you name even one?

Some mathematician has calculated that if every person who ever lived were alive on Earth, each person would have an acre of land. Then you have compounds where family members live together, and there would even be more land for them. And we're talking massive wonderful houses and castles, if that's what they want, where many people could live, if they didn't want to live on their own acre by themselves.

I can name over 8 million people who qualify for remaining with the true God, and there will be many more in the new system.

The vast majority of "Christians" believe they are "saved" by way of their false adherence to the false gospel of grace/cross (lawlessness). They will all die (Jeremiah 31:30) and hold on to their "plagues" (Rev 18:4).

Surely out of the 8 million people you know who are now living for eternity, there must be a few older that 150 years.

Jeanne Calment lived to 122. Close, but no cigar. I'm sure OWH will give us a full list of these people who live past 150....

God gave a secret, and denied it me?
Well, well—what matters it? Believe that, too!”

Now you're being facetious, aren't you? You have been told that the living forever part comes immediately after the Millennial Reign of Christ and his co-rulers. The ones who take Jehovah's and Jesus' side instead of going with the Devil will "come alive" at that time and will have the privilege of living forever. So no one can live to be 150 years in this system of things. It'll happen in the new world.

No.

I asked you to name one and now there is none that you can name, because the living forever part hasn't yet started.

If there is a period of death in your "living forever part" then that is not living forever -- is it?

Jesus says we must be born again of the Spirit to gain everlasting life because only spiritual life lasts forever. Flesh degrades and dies.

And to date, no human has been born again of the Spirit.
