Index page loading really slow?

There's been reports that the index page is loading real slow. It's a bit slow for me, around 5 seconds. But, some are waiting more than 5 minutes. Anybody else experiencing this?

Yeah, it lagged a bit for me, too.

Most worryingly, I get this:

Code: Select all

liam: ~/cloudy/source |
% ping -c 3 www.debatingchristianity.com
PING www.debatingchristianity.com (209.200.246.26) 56(84) bytes of data.

--- www.debatingchristianity.com ping statistics ---
3 packets transmitted, 0 received, 100% packet loss, time 2016ms

liam: ~/cloudy/source |
% ping -c 10 www.debatingchristianity.com
PING www.debatingchristianity.com (209.200.246.26) 56(84) bytes of data.

--- www.debatingchristianity.com ping statistics ---
10 packets transmitted, 0 received, 100% packet loss, time 9070ms

liam: ~/cloudy/source |
% ping -c 30 www.debatingchristianity.com
PING www.debatingchristianity.com (209.200.246.26) 56(84) bytes of data.

Seems to be much improved now. Seconds, not minutes, but still a bit sliuggish.
Dogmatism and skepticism are both, in a sense, absolute philosophies; one is certain of knowing, the other of not knowing. What philosophy should dissipate is certainty, whether of knowledge or ignorance.

Hmm, I think I should probably rollback the changes I was doing to iptables.

How do things look now?

Cannot tell until tomorrow. No longer behind the same proxy server as earlier. But here at home everything is fine.
