Strikethrough

Post by LiamOS »

Whenever I press the strike button above my posts, I get the BBCode tags for entering a URL. This isn't a massive problem for me since I usually type everything by hand, but it might be worth looking into, since it should be a simple fix.

Is anybody else getting this?

I'll get around to compiling Firefox 14 later. It's marked as unstable in Gentoo, but a lot of what I run is 'unstable' anyway.

And that's odd. I can't see it being a Linux issue, so hopefully upgrading Firefox will work.

It wouldn't surprise me if it's a Linux issue. I looked in the bbcode code and there's mention of win and mac, but no Linux.

Do all the other buttons work?

Code: Select all

The youtube button pulled in the URL tags, but other than that it's all working.

I can't really see how it would be a Linux issue, though. Does the rendering of the forum use any libraries on the host computer to do so?
