Show proof that your God loves you.

This would seem like an impossible task to me. Even if I believed in a God of sorts, I would find it impossible to imbue it/him with the human emotion of love. Is God-love different to human love and if it is can you give a few examples of it to explain how it works.

Gods love stems from responsibility, not of yearning.

As servants to the creator, we should love him with deep respect, as a child to their parents.

In all, Gods love isnt much different from the emotions of humans love. We are made under his image. Including all emotions, however, his emotions carry with omnipotency, in due meaning, emotions that he carry can go at a same pace or level infinitely. If he's under the emotion of wrath, within us humans, we will tire out eventually after thirty minutes to an hour or so at max, however due to his infinite energy, his emotions will go on at that level for all eternity and never ending.

Kind of like that.

This is almost, if not exactly the relationship described in the Jesus parables of the NT. ie the owner of the vineyard ones we all know, ie Luke 20:13, Matthew 20:8, etc.

What is love? To me, at the very least, it involves treating the object of one's love in some kind of special privileged way. Yet all the evidence seems to show that the Creator of the Universe is entirely indifferent to our (humanity's) existence. The expression God loves me has to me as much meaning as the gamer who claims dice hate me.

My belief that God loves me stems from my personal experience with Him, inadmissable as evidence on this forum. I have written a 50 page short story about my experience some time ago, mostly while manic. If you wish to read it you can PM me your e-mail address. McCulloch, my dice just have a horrable sence of humor and no memory of what they rolled last time so they do not know they can't possibly roll the same number that I've rolled like twenty times allready.

Also, quoting scripture can not prove anything. This does not show God feels anything for you, as first you have to show God exists.

Love typicaly is shown by action - the action of the Christan God is to kill part of itself or alow part of itself to die and demands that killing in order to forgive us then demands we belive this happened in order to love us. That is not love.

It really is impossible to prove.
I make arguments against his love for us quite often. I personally think he's indifferent and may step in randomly to help or out of interest, rather than love.

Think about people who play sports, earning millions of dollars who thank God. Then think about the children who are murdered all around the world...
Kind of hard to attribute love for all to God when you acknowledge reality.

I don’t think I would live without God’s love. In my opinion my life is sign that God loves me. Why else he would let me live?
