Some helpful tips

Hello beautiful people (I really mean that)!

I love to debate here, not because I'm any good at it, but rather, I most sincerely enjoy each of you. You are all such a vital part of this forum. Now, I know that I am a moderator, and that I willingly agreed to hold such a position. I enjoy it...mostly :-) What I have noticed as of late, is the increasing reports being made. I thought perhaps, that I could offer some helpful suggestions.

1. This is a debating forum, people are not going to agree with you all the time.
Try not to take things personally.

2. If you are feeling frustrated, perhaps the best thing to do, is to have some time
to think things through. Words said in haste are not always the most civil.

3. If you think someone's posts breaks a forum rule, report it, don't respond in a
way that leaves you breaking a rule. Two wrongs do not make a right.

4. People get busy. Most of us have lives apart from this forum, so don't take it
personally if someone doesn't respond back to you. It isn't required.

5. Feel free to use the pm system if you would like to address personal issues with
a particular debater. Please remember, the same rules that apply to the forum,
apply to pm's. Please be kind.

6. Most importantly, congratulate yourselves right now for being a part of such a
wonderful forum. All of you contribute to making it the best debating website
around!!
