Will the meek shall inherit this our planet earth?

We Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the meek will inherit this our planet earth and that when they do, life on this our planet will be much better than it is now.

Do you think this is a reasonable belief?

I ask because it is indeed a hope Jehovah's Witnesses hold dear. Indeed the bible says that it is impossible to please God if one doesn't believe he rewards the faithful.
