Consistency in the Qur'an

The Qur'an was revealed as a religious guide for Muslims. Every verse in the Qur'an is a verse from God Himself that was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Ideally, a person should know Arabic to understand the Qur'an.

Islam has established that the Qur'an is not a book of science. So any discovery of the world of science that is not found in the Qur'an cannot be used as evidence to deny the authenticity of the Qur'an as a holy book. It could even be that discoveries from the world of science itself can contradict statements from the Qur'an.

As ordinary people we are still given the opportunity to study the Qur'an by using logic. As a book of miracles in this world, the Qur'an must be free from any defects.

One of the ways to question the content of the Qur'an is to study the level of consistency that exists in the Qur'an. The level of consistency in the Qur'an can be artistic and not necessarily scientific. When the content is consistent then any statement that exists cannot contradict each other.

So far I am still satisfied with the contents of the Qur'an. Among the content that is viewed consistently in the Qur'an is the event of the prophets being ascended to heaven.

Among the humans who have been ascended to heaven are Prophet Enoch, Prophet Elijah, Prophet Jesus (peace and tranquility be upon them) while Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was once ascended to heaven and then descended back to earth. There may be other human lists but this is all I could find using Internet search engines.

If the Qur'an is consistent then the location for the prophets to be ascended to heaven should be only in one place on this earth.

I am still not sure where the right place for Prophet Enoch (peace and tranquility be upon him) was ascended to heaven. One of the reasons why this information is difficult to find is that perhaps the time of the life of Prophet Enoch (peace and tranquility be upon him) itself happened too long ago than the present. However, it is highly likely that the place where he was ascended to heaven is the same as Prophet Elijah, Prophet Jesus (peace and tranquility be upon them) and Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

The place where Prophet Elijah (peace and tranquility be upon him) was ascended to heaven is in Lebanon while the place where Prophet Jesus (peace and tranquility be upon him) was ascended to heaven is in Historic Palestine. These two places are only nearby in modern times.

What is interesting about the event of the prophets being ascended to heaven is the story of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This event is called Isra' and Mi'raj. He was a messenger sent by God to preach in Mecca as the first holy place in Islam. However, he did not immediately ascend to heaven in Mecca, but He departed first from Mecca to Historic Palestine, which is the third holy place in Islam after Mecca and Medina.

When the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) arrived in Historic Palestine, then he was ascended to heaven. After he was ascended to heaven on his duty as God's messenger, he was descended back in Historic Palestine. From Historic Palestine he went back to Mecca to end the events of Isra' and Mi'raj.

That is what I meant before as consistency in the Qur'an. All four of these prophets were ascended to heaven in a place that can be said to be almost the same. If it has been determined that Historic Palestine will be the center for mankind to be ascended to heaven, then there will be no other place that can replace that place.

Apart from the events narrated in the Qur'an, I am also studying other contents to strengthen my opinion about the consistency in the Qur'an. The content of the rest does not necessarily exist as stories but can be things related to laws as well for example.

Take a look at the places involved where the events of Isra' and Mi'raj happened. The latitude and longitude of Mecca and Historic Palestine is in an almost ideal position on the geographical coordinates of the world map.

Mecca is located near coordinates 21.246118°N, 42.492236°E. These coordinates are in the golden ratio.

Historic Palestine is located near coordinates 30°N, 36°E. The ratio for this latitude is 1:2 while the ratio for this longitude is 2:3. The ratio of these coordinates are numbers that are easy to remember in human memory.

Praise God.

These two places are the brain and heart of the earth. Both are mutually dependent on each other.

Edit: I just did this research casually and what I found made me feel humble.

Edit 2: At least if you don't have religion, you will think what if external supernatural power will not be interested in such coordinate values?

There are two centers of monotheism for Prophet Ibrahim (peace and tranquility be upon him), namely Mecca and Historic Palestine. God once promised that he would become the leader of all nations of the world. The two cities are the capitals of all nations of the world or likened to the brain and heart of the earth.

The descendants of Prophet Ibrahim (peace and tranquility be upon him) are the chosen descendants to have many prophets up to Prophet Muhammad (may God bless him). However, he himself comes from one of the descendants of a previous prophet, namely Prophet Noah (peace and tranquility be upon him).

After the great flood that happened in the time of Prophet Noah (peace and tranquility be upon him) receded, his ship landed on a mountain called Mount Ararat in Turkiye. In modern times, it is believed that the coordinates for the location of the ship he landed on are 39.4406639, 44.2347833.

After making a calculation, it was found that latitude 39.4406639 is a ratio of 50.5593361:129.4406639 from north to south. While the longitude 44.2347833 is the ratio 135.7652167:224.2347833 from east to west. Both ratios have non-round numbers.

The closest round number to the number of the two ratios is the ratio of 2:5 for its latitude and the ratio of 3:5 for its longitude. The coordinate is 38.5714286, 45.0000000 which is the coordinate for Khoy in Iran which is a country that has a border close to the position of Mount Ararat in Turkiye. The coordinate is a beautiful coordinate because if the fractional number 2/5 is added to 3/5 then it will be equal to the round number 1.

When compared to the coordinates for the ship of Prophet Noah (peace and tranquility be upon him) in Mount Ararat in Turkiye, the addition of the fractional number 50.5593361/129.4406639 with the fractional number 135.7652167/224.2347833 is equivalent to 0.9960587. It is a number whose value is only close to the round number 1.

Besides that there is another variation for the addition of two fractional numbers that are equivalent to the round number 1. They are 0.3819660/1 and 0.6180340/1. In terms of mathematics, 0.6180340 is the golden ratio and 0.3819660 is the square of the golden ratio. The latitude which has a ratio of 0.3819660:1 from north to south is 40.2492247 while the longitude which has a ratio of 0.6180340:1 from east to west is 42.4922344. It is the coordinate for Handere, Sarikamis/Kars in Turkiye. This coordinate also has the same longitude as Mecca which has both latitude and longitude in the golden ratio.

Now look again at the arrangement of both latitude and longitude for Handere, Sarikamis/Kars in Turkiye, Mount Ararat in Turkiye and Khoy in Iran. Their latitude order is 38.5714286, 39.4406639 and 40.2492247 while their longitude order is 45.0000000, 44.2347833 and 42.4922344.

In the beginning, the purpose of my study of the coordinates for Mount Ararat in Turkiye was to find if there was anything wrong with the coordinates that became the landing place for Prophet Noah's ship (peace and tranquility be upon him). Apparently it turns out that the places that are chosen by God such as Mecca, Historic Palestine and Mount Ararat are special from a mathematical point of view. Glory be to God.

In fact, technological progress will show more evidence of God's greatness instead of making humans feel that religion is an ancient belief. I do calculations related to using a mobile phone whose technology can be accessed by ordinary people like me. Technology will make God is alive. If there are any shortcomings, I hope someone will correct me. Thank you.

The only name of the prophet other than the name of Prophet Muhammad (may God bless him) that is mentioned in the Islamic prayer is the name of Prophet Ibrahim (peace and tranquility be upon him).

This is also part of the consistency in Islamic teachings because it was Prophet Ibrahim (peace and tranquility be upon him) who first founded Mecca. Mecca is the Qiblah and the holiest place in Islam. Historic Palestine is a 'base' for him just as Medina is a 'base' for Prophet Muhammad (may God bless him). Medina and Historic Palestine are the second and third holiest places in Islam.

But in Islam apart from these two prophets, we must also learn about 23 other prophets.

In terms of mathematics, the coordinates of Mecca are not located exactly on the coordinates of the golden ratio. This is observed based on the GPS application.

However, it is not necessary that it is located exactly as long as both the coordinates of Mecca and the golden ratio are under one country, culture or nation ruled by the same kingdom.

The important thing is that every Muslim must be convinced that Mecca is the Qiblah and the holiest place in Islam.

The same is true when every Muslim makes the Qiblah the direction to face in Islamic prayer. It is not necessary to use any sophisticated technological equipment so that the direction of the Qiblah in the prayer becomes completely accurate.

The condition is enough to observe the position of the sun and how many degrees it is to find the direction of the Qiblah. It has been practiced by Muslims for centuries. What is important is the feeling of confidence when performing the prayer.
