The Bible is too BIG to be made up.
Does the Bible's size prove that its true?
I was flipping through the many pages of my Bible and I started thinking: Why would somebody tell lies for 1987 pages? Seems like they'd get bored after 100 pages of telling lies.
Sometimes I have doubts but I think nah, ain't nobody got the time to tell that many lies.

Your mistake here is thinking the Bible was written by one person and that it was created as a single book. It is numerous writings cobbled together into one book. Beyond that, even if it were one book written by one author, yes it could still be a book that size full of lies. Of course, classifying errors as intentional lies is also a mischaracterization of what it is. It is a total mess, but probably not filed with intentional lies.

To be clear: Atheism is not a disbelief in gods or a denial of gods; it is a lack of belief in gods.

I must assume that knowing is better than not knowing, venturing than not venturing; and that magic and illusion, however rich, however alluring, ultimately weaken the human spirit.
