Reincarnation Words and Phrases in the Bible

Post by Base12 »

The Christian Bible teaches Earth to Earth reincarnation for the unredeemed. From Genesis to Revelation, themes of reincarnation can be found interwoven into the holy text.

Since Christians are told the lie that reincarnation is not Biblical, they are unable to see the plethora of words and phrases used to describe reincarnation, even though said is right in front of them.

This thread will list some of the words and phrases used in the Bible in order to help those that are tired of the blasphemous lies the Church teaches and wish to 'deprogram' themselves.

Earth Dwellers

Those that are unwilling to leave Earth behind are doomed to repeat another cycle of reincarnation back here again. Scripture uses the phrase 'those that dwell on the Earth' to describe them.

Was, is not, and yet is

The 'Beast' is a figure in the Bible that is often reincarnating. Phrases like 'was, and is not; and shall ascend' as well as 'was, and is not, and yet is' are used to describe its reincarnation process.
  • Was: The Beast was alive at one point
  • Is not: The Beast died
  • And yet is: The Beast will reincarnate once again
The Beast has seven 'heads'. This teaches us that the Beast has reincarnated at least seven times.

That's one interpretation but to know if an interpretation is accurate one would need other supporting texts... are there any other verses in the bible that indicate that animals are reincarnated? What is reincarnated ? If you are saying that animals have souls and that those souls die and then come back to life is that really "reincarnation"? or is it a resurrection? Are there any scriptures that indicate God will resurrect animals?

Since Christians are told the lie that reincarnation is not Biblical, ...
Bible says:
Inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgment,
Heb. 9:27

I think that refutes the idea of reincarnations.

Yes. The first instance is in Genesis 3...

Genesis 3:14
"And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:"

God forced a reincarnation of Satan into a creature that crawls on its belly. Those on the milk of the word believe Satan was reincarnated as a snake. Those on the meat of the word will understand that Satan was turned into sperm, who later became Cain when Adam placed said seed into the fertile Earth of Eve's womb. Thus, Satan's reincarnation process was complete.

Nebuchadnezzar is another example...

Daniel 4:16
"Let his heart be changed from man’s, and let a beast’s heart be given unto him; and let seven times pass over him."

He went from human to beast and back to human again. The heart is associated with the Soul and the Genome. To be given another heart is to be given another Genome. It is technically, reincarnation.
JehovahsWitness wrote: Tue May 27, 2025 5:33 pm What is reincarnated ?
It is the Spirit that reincarnates. The Body and Soul is destroyed.

John the Baptist came in the power and Spirit of Elijah...

Luke 1:17
"And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord."

The Spirit is of Elias, the Body and Soul are new.

Reincarnation and Resurrection are similar in that they both lead to a new Body and Soul for the Spirit to inhabit. The difference is that Resurrection does not have the physical Body yet. Note that when the Redeemed receive their glorified bodies, it is still a form of reincarnation. It does not need to be a 'downgrade'.

If a living organism comes back with the same Body and same Soul, then it is simply a revival, like Lazarus.
JehovahsWitness wrote: Tue May 27, 2025 5:33 pm Are there any scriptures that indicate God will resurrect animals?
Yes. They will ultimately be redeemed as well...

Isaiah 65:25
"The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD."

I believe that includes Satan as well. All will be redeemed in the end.

That is a common verse the Church uses to try and debunk reincarnation. The common thinking is that the verse implies that humans 'die only one time' or 'live only one life' or something like that.

If that were the case, the verse would grossly contradict what the rest of the Bible teaches, like:
  • The Second Death
  • Becoming Born Again
  • Enoch and Elias never dying
  • The dead coming back to life only to die again later (e.g. Lazarus)
  • Etc.
Hebrews 9:27 is teaching that every death will be judged. If anything, it supports reincarnation by clarifying that those who believe they can 'do what thou wilt' and get away with it are sadly mistaken.

The unredeemed will 'reap what they sow' in the next life. We see that happening all over the world. What separates Christian Reincarnation from all the other religions is that Christianity does not teach a 'caste' system. We are to uplift everyone and love one another.

Mystery of Iniquity

The Mystery of Iniquity is literally Reincarnation. There it is for all to see. Hidden in plain sight as it were. It is just that simple.

Gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority

Revelation 13:2 describes the Dragon giving his power, and his seat, and great authority to the Beast. This is a form of reincarnation called Kenosis, similar to what Jesus did.

There are three main types of reincarnation in the Bible:
  • Heaven to Earth
  • Earth to Earth
  • Earth to Heaven
Heaven to Earth reincarnation is called Kenosis. Jesus, Satan and the Fallen Angels all did this. They left their 'first estate', i.e., they left their Glorified Body behind to re-incarnate here.

Earth to Earth reincarnation starts with the Resurrection of Damnation and ends with another corrupt human body back here again. This is what most understand reincarnation to be.

Earth to Heaven reincarnation starts with the Resurrection of Glory and ends with the Glorified Body in Heaven/New Jerusalem.

The whole cycle can repeat at any time. There is always free will to choose one or another.

I asked about animals being reincarnated, Satan was not an animal.
