Pending Obama's signature, Don't Ask Don't Tell is dead. The U.S. Senate voted 65-31 yesterday to repeal the act. Gay and lesbian Americans can finally server their country in the military without fear of a discharge for being out or outed.

I never heard if this was completely wrapped up or not. I got laid off at the end of the year and have been busy working on finding a job. I hope it actually did get repealed.
