Post #1Pastor Terry Jones, the Florida pastor that threatened to (and ultimately did) burn a Holy Quran, is scheduled to have a dialogue with the Son of Man, the leader and teacher of the New Nation of Islam.
The dialogue is set to take place this Wednesday (June 8, 2011) at 9 PM eastern time. The discussion will be broadcast live on WHPR TV33 and 88.1 FM in Detroit, Michigan. It will be available live at

The Son of Man, the leader and teacher of the New Nation of Islam, will be continuing a dialogue with the pastor in Florida through his son, Pastor Luke Jones, who is the current pastor of Dove World Outreach Center.
The Son of Man will be debating Pastor Luke Jones tonight (Friday, June 10th 2011) at 9 PM Eastern / 8 PM Central. Pastor Luke Jones will be officially representing the Christian views of his church.

First of all, the Nation of Islam are kuffar (disbelievers) and if this guy believes he is the new elijah muhammad and follows a similar religion as him, then he is a kafir and this new nation of Islam are kuffar.
Allah (Subhana wa Ta'ala) says:
... This day those who disbelieve have despaired of [defeating] your religion; so fear them not, but fear Me. This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion. But whoever is forced by severe hunger with no inclination to sin - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
[ Surat Al ma'idah/5, v. 3 ]
Allah (Subhana wa Ta'ala) has already perfected our religion over 1400 years ago so we don't need nobody to come and "continue His works" when Islam is complete and perfect.
Send these people an email and tell em to stop false advertising, their nation (whether Old or New) has nothin to do with Islam.
Second, Islam is not concerned with making a black nation or a white nation of an Arab nation, but a MUSLIM nation. The last prophet, Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
O people, Remember that your Lord is One. An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a black has no superiority over white, nor a white has any superiority over black, except by piety and good action (Taqwa). Indeed the best among you is the one with the best character (Taqwa). Listen to me. Did I convey this to you properly? People responded, Yes. O messenger of God, The Prophet then said, then each one of you who is there must convey this to everyone not present. (Excerpt from the Prophet's Last Sermon as in Baihiqi)

But for the book burning, this should not have even been an issue with anyone. It is a book and is no more magical than burning Twilight or Origin of Species. You can burn the message and to pretend that burning the book destroys anything is silly. It is simple freedom of speech. The pastor's speech is showing he does not agree with Islam (which should be obvious to anyone).
The reaction should have been: "How weird. He is buying books and burning them. What a waste of money. Ironically, he is paying for the books, which helps the publishers and may help them make more books."
For anyone to get angry over this shows some weird idolatry over a physical book.
So let him burn as many books as he wants so long as he is not taking someone else's book or causing a fire hazard.

Talk about throwing away pearls. This is just another busienss scheme. But wasn't that Mohammad's goal back in Arabia as well?:
