A religious trifecta
Post #1With the exception of the tolerance of patriotic rites, it is interesting that these three groups, who all have memorials this weekend, for the most part, are either unaware of or reject the memorials of the others. Question for debate. Is there a good reason why there should have been this disparity on this past memorial day weekend?

Post #2There are organizations of war veterans with religious affiliations. Since they consist of war veterans and their supporters they naturally hold Memorial Day services.bluethread wrote: With the exception of the tolerance of patriotic rites, it is interesting that these three groups, who all have memorials this weekend, for the most part, are either unaware of or reject the memorials of the others. I would be surprised if these organizations were unaware of each other's existence and that they would each hold memorials. I am definitely not aware of them 'rejecting' each others memorials. What exactly would it mean to reject a memorial held by another organization? Not attending?
I do not see your point.

And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an hour.
