Kill Switch On Mircophones In Next Presidential Debates?

.

After Tuesday night's (9/29/20) Presidential debate between Trump and Biden, which almost everyone deems a farce, by one count "Trump interrupted former Vice President Joe Biden or debate moderator Chris Wallace at least 128 times.. . . .For his part, Biden interrupted dozens of times—at various points either trying to get a word in edgewise or correct flat lies by the president—but his interruptions were no match for Trump’s.

Wallace’s efforts to control the debate were valiant, but ultimately futile. Trump interrupted both men during both questions and answers. He muttered snide remarks under his breath. He talked over the moderator and his opponent. And he just plain cut them off over and over again. Wallace asked the president at least 25 times to stop interrupting and obey the debate rules: “Sir, you’re debating him, not me. Let me ask my question.” “Please let the vice president talk.” “You’ve made your point. Please let him answer.” “You’ve agreed to two minutes, please let him have it.” “No, no, no Mr. President.” “Mr.—President Trump, President Trump, the interruptions.” When Wallace said, “Mr. President, can you let him finish, sir?” and Biden replied, “He doesn’t know how to do that,” Trump interrupted in response to being asked to stop interrupting: “You’d be surprised, you’d be surprised. Go ahead, talk, Joe, talk.”

source

Obviously Trump has behavioral issues and needs to be reined in in future debates, so working toward that end how just and how practical would it be to give Wallace, or whoever the moderator happens to be, the power to cut off both candidates' mics---a solution that's already been suggested---? Or, if necessary, provide sound booths for each of them, which would prevent even mike-less remarks?

Why don't U.S. citizens just get a good robot to run the country so they can control every word it says? Trump's style is brash but at least he works hard to get something accomplished while the other candidate hides in his basement and won't answer questions about how he's going to lead the U.S. into the future.

"Early on, the president downplayed the coronavirus as something similar to the seasonal flu — nothing that Americans should be overly concerned about and something that would quickly pass.

His optimistic public comments often didn’t match the reality on the ground or even how U.S. public health agencies were approaching the looming crisis behind the scenes.

In one of his first substantive public remarks on the virus, during a visit in late January to an auto parts manufacturer in Michigan, Trump acknowledged that the U.S. had seen a smattering of infections but predicted a “very good ending for it.”

At that moment, there were only a handful of known cases in the United States, but the virus had already infected thousands in China, and the World Health Organization had declared the virus a “public health emergency of international concern.”

“We think we have it very well under control,” Trump told the assembled workers. “We have very little problem in this country at this moment — five. And those people are all recuperating successfully. But we’re working very closely with China and other countries, and we think it’s going to have a very good ending for it. .... That I can assure you.”

"Mark my words," Donald Trump said when he launched his presidential campaign on June 16, 2015.

Trump had just promised to "build a great wall," on the U.S.-Mexico border, "very inexpensively."

"And I will have Mexico pay for that wall," he said.

Wall??? What wall? Pesos??? What pesos" I don't see any wall, and I don't see any pesos.

And Just take a look at how he's indulged himself and his family in tax payer money."
Other than manipulating agencies and subordinates for his own profit just what has he accomplished that has actually helped the country?

"Last fiscal year, the Trump family took more trips that required Secret Service protection than the Obama family took in seven, according to a budget document released by the Treasury Department. On average, Obama’s family took 133.3 protected trips per year, while the Trump family has taken an average of 1,625 annually. Much of the Trump family’s known travel has been to promote Trump Organization businesses, which President Trump still owns and profits from. Every President and his family deserve Secret Service protection. But the President’s private business should reimburse taxpayers for money spent at Trump’s businesses or in support of them.

Image

While previous presidents have separated themselves from their assets and placed them in a blind trust, President Trump appointed his two adult sons to manage the international businesses that continue to make hundreds of millions of dollars a year on his behalf. The Trump family’s extremely high number of protected trips can be partially explained by the fact that Eric and Don Jr. have traveled the world promoting Trump-branded businesses throughout the Trump presidency. This explanation does less to settle concerns than to highlight the extent to which the American people are subsidizing the Trump family business. Despite running up a high tab, the Trump Organization has not paid the American people back for the security taxpayers have subsidized when Trump family members travel to support a business that regularly cashes in on the presidency."

AND

“US taxpayers have shelled out at least $471,000 to Trump's properties since he became president, according to newly revealed documents

According to federal records and people who have seen the receipts, Trump charged US taxpayers up to $650 per night at the Mar-a-Lago resort dozens of times in 2017, and $396.15 per night dozens of times in 2018.

The Secret Service was also charged $17,000 per month for a three-bedroom cottage agents rented to protect the president when he traveled to the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, NJ.

US taxpayers shelled out $471,000 to Trump properties from January 2017 to April 2018. The total number is likely much higher since that figure only covers a portion of Trump's time in office."
source

AND

"A January 2019 report by the Government Accountability Office found that federal agencies spent about $13.6 million over four of Trump's trips to Mar-a-Lago between February and March 2017. That included $10.6 million for operating government aircraft and boats, as well as $3 million for personnel expenses like transportation, lodging, and meals. Maloney and Speier further noted that the Secret Service has not disclosed the full scope of its payments to Trump’s businesses or the cost of travel to his properties by not regularly submitting semiannual reports on expenditures to protect the president. They said that the agency had only provided the three most recent reports and asked for an estimate of when it would submit the full set of reports documenting costs in the Trump presidency."

So, just what is it that Trump's accomplished that's actually benefited the country?

US taxpayers shelled out $471,000 to Trump properties from January 2017 to April 2018. The total number is likely much higher since that figure only covers a portion of Trump's time in office."

You mean, "Don't I have my own facts to present rather than copying and pasting the facts uncovered by others?" No I don't. I don't make up facts.

So, again I ask: Just what is it that Trump's accomplished that's actually benefited the country?

Ah, nice advice Pres. Care for an injection of bleach with your breakfast?

"Mark my words," Donald Trump said when he launched his presidential campaign on June 16, 2015.

Trump had just promised to "build a great wall," on the U.S.-Mexico border, "very inexpensively."

"And I will have Mexico pay for that wall," he said.

Wall??? What wall? Pesos??? What pesos" I don't see any wall, and I don't see any pesos.

AND
And Just take a look at how he's indulged himself and his family in tax payer money."

I think my question explains it. There is no change in anyone's life because of the POTUS. It only changes according to the way our CREATOR has programmed you.
