My first holiday season as an atheist!

Post by Richard81 »

I deconverted from christianity in July, and now it is almost thanksgiving and then christmas after that. This will be my first holiday season as an atheist! What can I expect? Anyone have any experiences during the holiday season?
"Faith is the attempt to coerce truth to surrender to whim. In simple terms, it is trying to breathe life into a lie by trying to outshine reality with the beauty of wishes. Faith is the refuge of fools, the ignorant, and the deluded, not of thinking, rational men." - Terry Goodkind.

Just enjoy your family and friends and have a good time. Don't bring up the BIG ISSUE. Avoid the argument at all costs and drink as much as you want.

If you're doing it right, remembering isn't on the cards.
