I think that Christians should band together and try to convert as many people to Christianity as possible. Don't we all believe in accepting Jesus as our personal savior and acknowledging that we are sinners and that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.
It is rather annoying to me to be asked if I am a Methodist, Prebyterian, Baptist, etc. The devil is just sowing seeds of confusion when Christians start arguing about how their certain denomination is the right way.

Now, I'm going to take this a whole step, wait... a whole leap forward. I strongly believe that there should be a fully christian nation and that if there was one it would be the most successful nations in the world. Because living by the bible will bring blessings from God. That is what happened to the United States. It used to be heavily christian until they let free speech and what not to reign. Now the nation is quite full of animal bondage, porn, homosexuality, etc. (just watch the T.V.) This new nation that would be fullly christian would be ruled by a king like in the good old days of King David and King Soloman. Now i want to hear from you christians out there.

i think that we do need to stick together as Christians we are all living and striving for the same thing, i dont, however, think that we should try and "convert" people, because it is wrong! religiion literly means to bind up, and thats not what its ment to be about our relationship with Christ is all about freedom. Converting is so i dunno uggg! i think that if we share our beliefs and are open to other peoples and stop preaching its a better witness i mean witness and use words if you must, stop witnessing and start loving! actions speak louder than words! I love you all!

Theoretically, a great idea. But realistically, let's face it, this is never going to happen until Jesus comes back. That's the whole point. You're never going to get a whole nation which is completely Christian. Even if every Christian migrated to one country and every non-Christian migrated away (even this is already going to cause a war), the total-Christian factor would last about one generation. And this is assuming none of the spouses or children weren't just pretending to be Christian so they could come with their loved ones. And discounting the fact that sometimes people say they're Christian when really they're not, because their parents were or whatever.adherent wrote:Now, I'm going to take this a whole step, wait... a whole leap forward. You're right that living Biblically will bring blessing from God, but you can't make a whole nation do that. Ever. Even if you tortured and massacred them, their hearts would still be sinful. And then you have the added problem of the leaders being sinful and hate-filled because of all the torturing and massacring. And the tortured people would rebel even more from the leadership.
And no, free speech is not the cause of sin. It's there whether or not you don't let people talk about it.
King David and King Soloman were both corrupt and sinful. I'm sorry, but it's true. Sure, at the start they were great, but towards the end... man. Have you read about it? I'm not so crash hot on Soloman, but I know that David's reign was war-torn and full of political factions etc. His own son led an army against him! Not good.
Israel was meant to be the nation that obeyed God's word and received his blessing. Look how that worked out. God had to come down himself and fix it all up they did it so badly (not that we gentiles did any better of course).
Sorry for the rant. Point is - free speech is a good thing! Any time any one starts trying to stop people speaking up in order to "get God's blessing" or "make people stop sinning" it just turns into mindless savagery.

Not having free speech is the reason why the nation was formed, and it is the main basis of the freedom we fight for, and even if u take it away there will always be those who do strange things behind closed doors. This beasiality nonsense is not new but people are just not as ashamed or worried as they would be in past times.adherent wrote:Now, I'm going to take this a whole step, wait... a whole leap forward. Even if they do it behind close doors, we should openly vote to ban it, then they can still do it behind close doors, its just that they know we dont approve of it.
I REALLY (underlined a million times) am driven crazy when christians, or anyone, says that what other people do is their business. People at school are always undecided on major, yes MAJOR, issues of gay marriage and abortion. Heh, if their not against it they are as good as for it.
