Murphy's Law: If anything can go wrong it will.

God created a perfect world but sin entered into it and that perfection ceased to exist. Murphy's Law is evidence that on some level all people realize that something has gone wrong.

The Bible teaches that when someone becomes a Christian he is no longer under the law of Moses. He is no longer under Murphy's Law either.
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
(Romans 8:28 ESV)
This doesn't mean that bad things no longer happen to him but it does mean that when they do God uses them to bring about good in our lives.
Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
(Romans 5:3-5 ESV)
We can see how that works by looking at the life of Job. He lost his wealth, his children, and his health. His life seemed to be a perfect illustration of Murphy's Law. Everything that could do wrong did go wrong. But in the end we find that his suffering brought him closer to God. God had removed the good things from his life to replace them with something better.

The Bible ends with the creation of a new earth completely free from the curse of sin. When this happens Murphy's Law will be repealed.
His invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made.
Romans 1:20 ESV
