since the A room is having its own little army to go against us christians why cant we prepare ourselfves? we could have a nice little bible study thing or just give each other tips and encouragement

Good idea. However the Atheist Academy seems to have disbanded.

OK, here's some initial tips on being a good debater.

Be familiar with the rules and how to gain respect.

You need to do your research. Support your arguments with as much evidence as possible. Also, use sources that are reputable.

Use the spellcheck and the preview buttons before posting. Posts that have a bunch of misspellings and unclosed tags do not make a good impression.

It's not something that is specifically measured. It's just in the minds of the readers. (But I guess you could individually ask someone on what is their respect level of you.)

I'm all for encouraging one another.

Here's some encouraging words from Jesus -
John 14:27: "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your heart be troubled, and do not be afraid."
John 15:12: "My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you."

Wonderful passage, all in all. Read it when you need a spiritual boost

yeah, waht happened to the athiest academy, and what of izumi?

I think we christians should band together and encourage each other, and i wish i had moer free time

its especially important to encourge us younger ones cause school is starting and you get hit pretty hard with temtations. i have to ask if you all would pray for me this year because this year is Gods year and im letting him do what he wants or at least trying and ive also been challenged to witness to 3 people and give them Bibles. im pumped! this year is new for me so please pray for my school and me
