Jehovah's Witnesses have three religious assemblies a year and view them a times for spiritual celebration and fellowship: Do you feel there is value in such arrangements?

I can't speak for JW but Christian's are encouraged to gather. I don't really think there need to be global gatherings of any kind.
Proverbs 18:17 The one who states his case first seems right, until the other comes and examines him.

I think there is value in that, and that idea reminds me of the Muslim hajj in Mecca.

Or old Roman Catholic/Orthodox pilgrimages to Jerusalem and the Holy Land.

Should be devotional, and optional and not mandatory, imo. (Muslims make theirs mandatory, if possible)

Are the JW assemblies mandatory or optional/devotional? And are they US national or international?
My theological positions:

-God created us in His image, not the other way around.
-The Bible is redeemed by it's good parts.
-Pure monotheism, simple repentance.
-YHVH is LORD
-The real Jesus is not God, the real YHVH is not a monster.
-Eternal life is a gift from the Living God.
-Keep the Commandments, keep your salvation.
-I have accepted YHVH as my Heavenly Father, LORD and Savior.

I am inspired by Jesus to worship none but YHVH, and to serve only Him.

The are not mandatory (I have no idea how one could possibly impose and police such a thing) and there are no disciplinary measures taken for those that miss them. They are "our Christmas" if you like, our yearly spiritual celebrations, and I don't know how many people need to be forced to celebrate Christmas or Thanksgiving.

Our conventions are held worldwide, nobody has too far to travel; usually in large convention centers or sports stadiums. Sometimes (every few years) international conventions are held at specific locations where delegate attend from different countries.

Good evening friends!

I absolutely believe that gathering together to worship, to learn and grow in His word, to minister and heal, to encourage and strengthen, to serve, and to celebrate each other, is beneficial. Where two or more are gathered.....

I realize these things are not enforcable, but still, some religions consider some things mandatory, and some devotional.

Sunday Mass, for example, is mandatory for Roman Catholics. It is considered "sin" if one misses Sunday Mass.

But nothing more happens, no scolding, it's between the person and God.

Weekday Masses, on the other hand, are optional and devotional.

We are all very excited by the announcement of over 20 international assemblies for 2019. This will be a wonderful opportunity for international fellowship.
