I shared the verse that the spirit reminded me of above. I had previously shared more fully as my Lord teaches, on another thread, so I did not elaborate here. But it occurs to me that simply quoting that verse (without elaborating) might possibly be mistaken by some as support for the WTS. It was not.

His death on our behalf is humbling, but it's only half the story. If we left the discussion at his death alone, it would be tragic. It's the fact that he rose from the dead, conquering death, so that we might have eternal life with him that causes us to celebrate. You can't talk about his crucifixion alone. You have to complete the picture by talking about his resurrection.
