True struggles?

Another poster quoted

"Unless one has ceased to sin, then they aren't "faithful". Not to God and His ways, anyway."

Maybe they are right? Or illy informed?

It seems like our Church, the preachers teach us to be sinless, yet our brothers along me confess to imperfection, and then the preacher began to talk of "knowing the good he did not do", a sinner himself. Perhaps a reflection of myself... (in my church)... I wish i could go back and have fellowship with those sinners...

But I believed in perfection, i was ill informed. I was set on the convictions of me being un perfect.

Then everything changed... The church became divided, some people began to take an image of perfection, though i never knew them and they intimidated me... And some took the image of the fallen, and I didnt like them either... So i left...

I was then taken to unbelieving sinners, and I got along with them...

And now? The world is still broken, and people say things like quoted above.

I do though, absolutely believe we should be faithful and believe in the forgiveness of sins, and I believe the limited abilities in man are not their direct sins...

So what's the problem?
The problem is you brought up pornography, which fine, let it be my sin... The church has made such a big deal about this since the beginning of my fall..

I remember my youth pastor was divorced for the sins of pornography, and fired... And it was weird, they gave us a cake in the aftermath, a white cake...

I didnt think anything of it then, cause i didnt care, but truly at the time i was falling... And unbelieving as well...

But who is unbelieving? The church that condemns a sinner? What is that sinner suppose to do? Be condemned or live faithful still? I say live faithful... So who is sinning against who?

All the while, who is sinless to throw any stone?

Should we condemn ourselves because of our sins? Who is the hypocrite then? Did not God forgive us, but we dont believe it? And we believe our actions should save us? Good luck with that... It is almost laughable... What is better then? To sin and remain faithful? Or to sin and condemn ourselves?

"5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do."

Tart: Should we condemn ourselves because of our sins?

William: The problem has everything to do with judgmentalism.
Remove that from ones practice and see the difference it makes.
