Who is, or was the best Democrat running for President, and why?

What is your assessment of the remaining candidates, or your favorite ones who may have already dropped out?

My theological positions:

-God created us in His image, not the other way around.
-The Bible is redeemed by it's good parts.
-Pure monotheism, simple repentance.
-YHVH is LORD
-The real Jesus is not God, the real YHVH is not a monster.
-Eternal life is a gift from the Living God.
-Keep the Commandments, keep your salvation.
-I have accepted YHVH as my Heavenly Father, LORD and Savior.

I am inspired by Jesus to worship none but YHVH, and to serve only Him.

They do, but very poor people don't seem to.

And they shouldn't. The system rewards over-reproduction in the poor.

Additionally they have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Nobody cares about some spinster - she can starve. But an unmarried woman with eight kids? Nobody's going to let those innocent children's mother die.

So, I'm taking a global perspective, rather than parochial national one.

Firstly, if you can't afford anything else, sex is a reasonably pleasant way to spend one's time.

Secondly, if you educate girls, they tend to take control of their own fertility.

Finally, unless you have actually been absolutely poor (not enough cash to secure your own survival and that of your family) I am not sure we are in a position to judge. One reason suggested for the fecundity of the poor is that the more children you have, the more likely that a few of them are to survive, and be able to care for you in your own old age.

Best wishes, 2RM.

Interesting. With the exception of historia, no one has named actual names yet. Anyone care to name a name, and make a case for that particular candidate? Whether or not they are still in the race? "Such and such would have been the best one...."

Obviously “best depends on the criteria we judge by. Personally, I was an Amy Klobuchar supporter. I thought that she had sound ideas for incremental national improvements, the capacity to follow through on her agenda, and good character (for a politician).

I thought that Biden would be the next president even before he entered the race. It is impossible to win the Democratic nomination without strong support from African Americans, and no one has truly chipped away and Biden’s support in that area. In the general election, I believe that Historia was right with his Centrists Strike Back theory.
