Forum For User-Created Works?

Post by ElCodeMonkey »

I wrote a book and I would like to have a forum where I could create a post regarding it instead of shamelessly plugging it within my debate questions and answers. Perhaps others might want to plug their own creative works as well? I would put some kind of restriction on it though like a user must have a minimum 1000 posts or something just so it's trusted people and not spammers posting there. Then we could share in helping one another with their works, talk about them, garner support, collaborate, etc, etc.

How about this? People are free to post in Members Only Chat subforum about their personal works (even commercial works), if they have a minimum of 1000 posts?

That might work. Do people use the chat forum much? I've never followed it myself. What makes one a "member" though? Donating? I seem to have access to post so I suppose I must be a member :-P. I can try posting there to see if I get any response.

No, no need to donate. Just anyone with a login. Forum guests will not be able to see it.
