During my suspension
Post #1During my suspension all i learnt was you can be suspended for something minor, there is no reason given, and no way to ask why. So i have a question why suspend?

Usually they list the infractions on the following forum:
Probation
But yeah, I don't see your name listed as a thread title. That does seem to be a bit unusual.

Suspension is not a result of "something minor" but is a result of repeated infractions as noted in http://debatingchristianity.com/forum/v ... 019#800019
Such action is taken after consideration by the Moderating / Admin team in concert.
Further infractions will trigger a Banishment vote by the team. It would be prudent to read and heed Forum Rules and Guidelines.

Exactly. When people have been suspended or banned, they have recieved many warnings for infractions and told time and time again what is expected of them. How many times should the same rules be broken?
Also who determines what are the minor rules and which aren't?
The owner of the site of course and that's his prerogative.

Society and its morals evolve and will continue to evolve. The bible however remains the same and just requires more and more apologetics and claims of "metaphors" and "symbolism" to justify it.
Prayer is like rubbing an old bottle and hoping that a genie will pop out and grant you three wishes.
There is much about this world that is mind boggling and impressive, but I see no need whatsoever to put it down to magical super powered beings.
