Help with search function

Hi,

Recently another user used the search function to find out how many times I had used a particular word. The result was wildly off. I had actually only used the word myself once or twice, but any post that I replied to, liked, or just happened to be on the same page as was caught up in the net.

I didn't call foul because I didn't really care, but I thought it might be an interesting tool to use in the future myself if I could figure out how to do it reliably.

So, does anyone know the magic incantation to actually search for words a poster has actually posted? Short of writing a backend perl script to process the current results, I can't figure it out. And I'm a programming geek so I might be inspired to do just that, but I'm also lazy so...
