Question about TD&D requirements

In the Theology, Doctrine and Dogma forum is it allowable to say something like 'such and such text indicates that Jesus would return sometime in the 1st century but it did not happen so it is wrong'?

Does any mod or admin have an answer to my question? The question is whether I could argue my case in TD&D or does it have to be in C&A. It was not intended to begin the debate in CS&Q.

Sometimes the powers-that-be adopt an attitude of sphinx-like inscrutability. Speaking from experience, I would suggest simply posting as you imagined, and then the moderators may move the new thread or leave it be, as they see fit.

I look forward to engaging with your explanation of how you know it didn't happen.

Yes, it can be posted in TDD.

The most important thing is there must be a question to debate. See:

Thank you. I was talking about when replying to others in TD&D. If I were to start a Topic questioning the validity of something the Bible says, I would probably start it in C&A. (As I already have.)

[Replying to Imprecise Interrupt]

Right, you cannot question the authority of the Bible in TDD.

So it is NOT allowed in TD&D to say something like 'such and such text indicates that Jesus would return sometime in the 1st century but it did not happen so it is wrong'. Is that correct?

You can say the interpretation of the passage is wrong, but you cannot say therefore the Bible is wrong.
