While the ‘quote’ function is invaluable for ensuring you don’t misrepresent a poster, I do find that some threads quickly become almost unreadable when an individual post contains a large number of nested quotes. What at first glance appears to be a very long post may in fact only be a couple of sentences at the end, with a lot of unnecessary duplication above.
I don’t imagine it’s feasible or desirable to impose some arbitrary limit on nesting quotes, but I’d like to see a bit more judicious editing of posts for readability by members. Has anyone else felt this way?

There is currently a limit of 10 for nested quotes. But, yes, I agree, it'd be best if people could edit the post and remove unnecessary quotes.
