Enable image upload

Post by Sherlock Holmes »

I just read this in the FAQ "... If the administrator has allowed attachments, you may be able to upload the image to the board...".

Most forums these days allow arbitrary images to be uploaded or even simply pasted into a post, is there any possibility this could be done here? is this something an admin could "allow" here?

Thx

I suspect that limited storage space is the issue. It's slightly less convenient than a direct upload, but I use imgbb.com for image hosting.

Yes, storage space is one reason for not enabling image uploads. During an OS upgrade, I don't want to deal with image file transfers. Also, this forum is attacked all the time. So, I don't want to open up any potential vulnerabilities.
