Everyone has religion even atheists. Our religion is what we do. Religion nailed Jesus to the cross. One thing Carl Marx said that I agree with, "Religion is the opium of the people." True Christianity teaches "true religion," and it is against religion in general or making an idol of it.
It states that religion can do nothing good for you. It teaches a relationship with Christ is the only hope of glory; it teaches it is not what you know about Christ that is important, but is knowing Him & Him knowing you that determines eternal life or death!
The Bible states that true religion is visiting the poor and afflicted. It is to help the oppress go free and helping the orphan and widow.
